If we are led around by the emotions of how we feel, we fail to realize that freedom is right in front of us. We don't have to live a life subjected to feelings but rather can choose to redirect ourselves and our wills into the hands of a loving Father through Christ Jesus.
Quickly we find that His ideas and plans of who we are in Him out weighs any self conceived thoughts and mindsets of what we feel.
No one is saying not to feel but don't linger in the unwanted ideas of failure or pain which leads to a life of bondage. Find out how God sees you; look through His lens and not the tainted, fogged up lens that holds no clarity. Jesus wants us to rise above, for His thoughts towards us are pure and right....
Psalm 40:5
King James Version
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Choose to see yourself and each situation as He sees it; laying down every idle thought that presents itself contradictory to the Word of
God... 2 Corinthians 10:5
King James Version
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
We will find victory through Christ because He loves us and came to set us free from a life controlled by the instability of emotions. 1
John 4:9-10
King James Version
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
