Heaven Is Our Destination Where We Will Be ONE With The Lord Forever

Today, we are in The Season Of The Last Generation. The Birth Pains that Christ Jesus spoke about are currently under way, including natural and unnatural disasters. They will be ever increasing. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. Social, economic and political turmoil will be ever increasing, causing people's hearts to be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life. An apostasy within the Church of God is currently under way. This will all reach a climax with Satan revealing his Antichrist and requiring that everyone worship him; That every one receive his "mark" in order to buy or sell; The new currency of the New World Order, the New Tower of Babel.

Today, it is critical that those who have a heart for God are aware of what God is doing and speaking today. God is opening up His Word like never before in preparation for The Time Of The END. I exhort you to open up your heart and your eyes to see what He is doing and your ears to hear what God is speaking at this time. My prayer is that we will be able to stand before the Son of Man at His appearing, without fault and with great joy. I encourage you to read David Wilkerson's book, America's Last Call at davidwilkersontoday.blogspot.com. Also, Google, Tommy Hicks Prophecy, 1961 for a view of the End Times.

GENUINE AND LASTING REVIVAL REQUIRES THESE 4 ELEMENTS

Does your church have the tools, and it is ready, for revival? (Getty Imades/Istock-GDArts - Pexels.com | iStock-GDArts)
Today's charismatic churches seek revival fire, but are they equipped to steward it when it comes?
I have found it helpful to think of cultivating Holy Spirit ministry with the analogy of building fireplaces within our local churches.
It's easy, at times, for charismatics to pray and ask for God to send more power.
Often, we believe that if we just had more anointing flowing, that would take care of whatever problems we're facing.
But what I've found is that's not usually the case.
If we ask for the fire of God and receive it, we quickly will be faced with our need to figure out how to steward the fire in a safe way.
Fire may have the potential to be very productive, but in and of itself, it is far from safe.
Under most circumstances, a fire burning in our home will result in one of two outcomes:
Either the home will be damaged or the fire will be extinguished.
It is only with the structure of a fireplace that the fire can be harnessed to warm the home or be used to cook food.
Believe it or not, the fire of God can rip a church apart just as much as it can build it up.
It's all about building an environment that can steward and protect the fire God provides.
This subject is essentially the point of 1 Corinthians 14, wherein Paul gives a number of very direct instructions for how to build a healthy fireplace environment.
For example, here is a fire without a fireplace:
"Therefore if the whole church assembles in one place and all speak with tongues, and those who are unlearned or unbelievers come in, will they not say that you are out of your mind?" (1 Cor. 14:23).
And here is what Paul says will happen when that fire is in a fireplace:
"But if all prophesy and there comes in one who does not believe or one unlearned, he is convinced by all and judged by all. Thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. And so falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you" (1 Cor. 14:24-25).

In one situation, the power of God results in chaos and the disrepute of the church; in the other, it builds the church up.
The environment matters.
Over the last few years, I've had the opportunity to work with more than 200 different churches with the School of Kingdom Ministry, and along the way, I've seen churches that have built excellent fireplaces, and churches that have suffered for not having enough in place there.
In the spirit of keeping with the visual metaphor, I find it helpful to think about the elements of a fireplace and how they translate to our application in a local church.
We will take it one component at a time: flames, fuel, air and bricks.
Flames
Without fire in it, a fireplace is just an empty corner.
Similarly, we need to be thinking about the sources of flames God has put around us. Fire comes from God; it is not something that can be controlled, but it is something we can anticipate and create the space for.
One way to get fire is to carry it from another fireplace—an important thing for each of us to keep in mind.
What sources of fire are we interacting with regularly?
If we're not hanging around fire, it's much harder to find it and know when we have it.
There are also people whom God uses as "fire-starters" in the body of Christ.
These are people who just seem to have things happen around them.
They generate flames and catch things on fire around them (sometimes, maybe even often, without meaning to).
It's important that we know which people around us God is giving as fire-starters, and that we make room for them to make some sparks.
The difficult part with this is that fire-starters are usually messy people.
They often aren't your ideal small group leader.
They may be weird or socially awkward; they may have maturity gaps or a little bit too much personal drama.
They are not often neat, clean people, and they're not always the people to whom we want to give discipleship influence.
We need to be purposeful to engage with the often-challenging road of working with these people, refining their character and creating spaces for them to make some sparks.
Who are the fire-starters God has put around you?
How are you investing in them?
Consider these fire-starters in action:
"Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they came down, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for still He had come on none of them. They were only baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit" (Acts 8:14-17).
Philip works tremendous miracles and masses get saved, but it's Peter and John who start lighting some fires with the Samaritans themselves.
In fact, it's the very same Peter who denied Jesus.
It's the very same John who, with his brother James, tried to call down fire from heaven when people didn't accept their preaching (see Luke 9:54).
Jesus patiently spends more than three years pouring into them and helping them grow up, in part because He knows, in time, they will be the fire-starters the early church needs to get off the ground.
If you want to have fire in your fireplace, have a plan to get it there.
It may be hard work, but it's worth it.
Fuel
Real fires also need more fuel to keep burning.
If you don't continually give a fire new gas or wood, it will burn out, and I find the same is true for our local-church fireplaces.
We need to continually be thinking about feeding people into a place where they can get caught by the fire in the fireplace.
Often I find that churches have a great plan in place to get people saved, but much less of one to introduce people to the Holy Spirit;
that seems a shame to me.
The Holy Spirit is very eager to draw new people into an active partnership with Him.
Consider this example when Peter goes to Cornelius' house:
"While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the word. All the believers of the circumcision who had come with Peter were astonished, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. For they heard them speaking in other tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter continued, 'Can anyone forbid water for baptizing these, who have received the Holy Spirit as we have?'"
(Acts 10:44-47).
The Holy Spirit doesn't even wait for them to follow the right order!
They don't get a chance to respond in faith in Jesus before the Spirit falls on them and lights them up as new fuel on the fire.
What is your plan for adding more fuel to the fire?
How are you working with people who are not dynamically partnering with the Spirit of God to move them toward more activity there?
Air
Another thing fires need is air flow.
If you don't have enough air circulation, a fire will burn through all the oxygen available and then reduce to a smolder.
Similarly, in our local churches, our fire needs some space designated for it to burn.
Not every context is helpful for letting the flames rage full-tilt.
I don't think we need to try to replicate a conference environment for our weekend services; a local church service is a good thing and doesn't need to be converted to a conference experience.
But if you don't have intentional spaces to allow the fire room to breathe, you'll find it starts to die down. This is part of why Paul says,
"Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies. Examine all things. Firmly hold onto what is good" (1 Thess. 5:19-21).
Paul tells us we need the right balance.
A fire needs some boundaries ("Examine all things"), but it also needs some room ("Do not quench the Spirit).
We need to think about healthy boundaries and structures, and we also need to think about opening up spaces to let the flames burn a little more unhindered.
What might that look like?
Here are a few ideas:
Practice at weekend services.
At times, open up ministry times a little more than whatever is usual.
Take a few more risks.
That may include letting members of the congregation prophesy to one another.
Do some worship and ministry nights.
This is a great way to open up some room to pursue God in a very free way.
Consider specific ministries.
These ministries might be prophetic teams, healing rooms or collaborations with training and equipping schools like the School of Kingdom Ministry.
These are ministries that regularly hold a space open for people to go for it and see God do some amazing things.
Put people on the spot.
Ask them to pray, prophesy or minister to someone without any preparation.
This is a way of holding some space open for a specific person.
How do you plan to create room for your fire to burn?
Where will you take more risks and push the envelope for your environment?
Bricks
Finally, without bricks, we don't have any fireplace at all! Bricks represent the boundaries; they are the places where we curb the flames to protect the rest of the environment.
In my opinion, this is a critical component of your fireplace, and one that can be undervalued.
If we do not have a plan for how we are going to keep Holy Spirit ministry within healthy boundaries, in time that will lessen how much we see the Spirit on the move.
Where is the healthy boundary for our fireplace?
Once again, Paul has words of wisdom for us:
"So, seeing that you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that you may excel to the edifying of the church" (1 Cor. 14:12).
It seems to me that the gifts of the Spirit are on the path to going wrong when we forget this simple principle:
The gifts are given to us, but they are for others.
The benefit is not intended for us as the minister; the benefit is for the person we are ministering to.
We are meant to spend them for others' benefit, not our own.
Whenever we miss this and begin to spend them on ourselves in some way, we've taken the fire outside healthy boundaries.
If we want to have effective Holy Spirit fireplaces, we need to have a plan for how we are going to have "brick" conversations.
These are never fun, and I don't like correcting people in this way!
But if we aren't purposeful to create room for these conversations, we will reap the results of overlooking the need for them.
Better yet, strive to be a leader who has these conversations proactively, not reactively.
A fire needs boundaries to keep it constructive, and it is part of our job as pastors and leaders to be intentional to help people know where those boundaries are.
What is your plan for addressing places where fire would spill out of the fireplace?
Each of these layers represents something we can do to help create a healthy, Spirit-active environment.
We cannot cause God's activity, but we can foster the kind of environment that values and honors what He does do, and what I've found is that when we take those steps, God often blesses our preparations with His presence.
If you're hungering to see God move more in your local congregation, I join you in those prayers!
May we see the Spirit fall in power and Jesus lifted high in glorious ways.
As we pray, let us also prepare, for when the fire does come, we can immediately set to work in partnership with our King.

WHAT THE 'NEW NORMAL' SHOIULD LOOK LIKE FOR THE CHURCH

The "new normal" for our churches should be simply revival. (Photo by Luis Alberto Sánchez Terrones on Unsplash)
Revival is the "new normal" we need.
The overwhelming revelation of the 2020 pandemic is the world's undeniable vulnerability to the unknown.
Anxiety-riddled questions fill the media and minds of citizens; to open or not open?
Physical health or financial increase?
To wait or to move?
I hear many people say we can't go back to the way things were.
In a few weeks, perhaps months, we will return to the same old, same old.
That is not a prophecy or a medical opinion; that is a keen sense for the obvious.
To me, the question is, will this crisis in any way change the way we think?
Will there be a change, even a heart transformation in the way we respond to life, God and others?
Or will we become more entrenched in a world that creates walls and barriers between the lost and the Good News?

There are enough bad views and fake news.
I want to challenge you to give the Good News!
When you do, people will not accept a "new normal" but repent and be transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Right now, even in hopelessness or fear, I know you have a deep desire for adventure.
God designed us for purpose, provision and favor.
When you proclaim the Good News, you will come under attack.
Look at the attacks against Franklin Graham or Jim Bakker.
Don't let the bad views drown out the messages of hope and faith.
Cheer up!
Every attack from the enemy shall pass, and if you hold firm to your faith, you will go on an extraordinary adventure into the heart of God.
Dare to stand and proclaim that:
—God is the answer to the direction of life.
—God wants to bless you because you are His creation.
—the God of the universe wants you to surrender your life to the one who died on the cross to set you free from sin,
—and that He wants to have a personal, loving relationship with you.
Buckle up in prayer!
Strap on the Word! Lift up your voice!
Build up, people!
If you don't want to live in a "new normal," but in times of His extravagant love, generosity and power, don't go with the flow.
Join me in fervent prayer and proclaim the powerful Word of God, to see an outpouring of supernatural grace and harvest greater than any other since the day of Pentecost.
Paul states in Romans 1:16-17,
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel [of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. As it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'"
In the end, God has not abdicated the throne.
He is alive!
The Alpha and Omega is finishing what He started.
He is preparing His bride for the wedding of the ages.
You're beautiful. I see Jesus in you.
Have a great week!

A TIME TO STAND

A Time to Stand

(Facebook/Elim Romanian Pentecostal Church Chicago)
These days the question at the forefront of all our debates is, "What is the church?"
Is it a commercial place?
Is it an entertainment venue?
Is it like a hospital or a pharmacy?
What about a conference hall, a classroom or even a park?
Is it a video game or an online app?
Though all of the above may apply to its more visible acts or manifestations, none are consistent with the core value and essential activity of the church and its local churches!
Get Spirit-filled content delivered right to your inbox! Click here to subscribe to our newsletter.
Therefore, a decision which categorizes churches in any of the aforementioned public settings ignores one irreplaceable quality that only belongs to the church and to none other: eternity!
No other place and no other activity in this world ties a person to the afterlife in such a definitive and direct way!
Everything else is here and now for here and now!
It is temporary, evolving, dispensable and as disposable as the bodies for which they apply!
But churches are most applicable for the soul, its vitality and its nourishment, with capital and eternal consequences, and that escapes most people who would try to place them in the "public gatherings" column.
That is why church is and should be standing alone in one most essential, most exclusive and most untouchable qualification!
In that sense, it is similar but much more than a food or hardware store, more than an entertainment venue, a hospital or a pharmacy.
At the other end of any other exchange are people, corporations, institutions and forms of governments.
In the church and its local settings, it's God!
And you can regulate and abate anything in this world but God!
The world tried to do it for decades in the public school system, in arts and culture, in media and lifestyles, and everywhere else, for its own demise!
They've even succeeded to either intimidate or employ pastors and priests into this treasonous abandonment of churches' main identity, which pertains to the conversion of human souls into the kingdom of God!
Many churches have abandoned the church design and its divine project by promoting an unbalanced approach, catering more to social and cultural needs than to the spiritual needs of the people!
Or they've been convinced that the church can survive without proper physical gatherings for a prolonged time, even a year!
That's why we see so many so-called religious people with a humanistic worldview either excluding from or at best ambiguously implying God and faith in their activities.
This is why the founding fathers and the Constitution have completely excluded governments from any intervention into or application of authority over religious institutions and activities!
The present crisis, whether objectively or subjectively, is testing that prerequisite of church and churches' stand-alone and self-governing status!
That is why Coronavirus is not just a pandemic threatening the lives and livelihoods of people, it is also an opportunity!
It is an opportunity for the ever expansive authority of governments to include religion under its ordinances and dominance, but also an opportunity for all churches to stand together and defeat this sinister ploy to subjugate them!
So, dear pastors and religious leaders, whatever your approach or belief system you adhere to, know and understand this:
We care about our people more than the government bureaucrats do, we know what church is without the government lecturing us about it, we have our precious First Amendment and will not allow a hostile government takeover, and we will be strong, courageous and diligent, especially when a crisis creates such convenient circumstances for the government to do all these things!
Out of this concern and on this principle I stand, and for this, I placed my position and my life on the line!
To do otherwise, all considerations included, it would mean on my part high treason in the kingdom for which I live, the kingdom of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
And that I cannot and will not do.
You might think that this is over-dramatization and grandstanding!
For me, it's conviction and faithfulness.
And on this front, while I welcome President Trump's support, I wish for a Supreme Court favorable and precedent-setting decision.
I feel vindicated by state and local government change, of course, and I believe we should be ready to act on our conscience, whether together or alone, in times of favor or contempt, with or without any other protection or mandate, except for the one we have from God!

WE ARE LIVING THE DAYS JOEL PROPHESIED 3,000 YEARS AGO

As we return to the Father with repentance and with praise, He will bless His people once again with heavenly abundance: (Photo by Guillaume de Germain on Unsplash)
God is always up to something!
From the earliest pages of the book of Genesis until the concluding statements in Revelation, God has been working relentlessly to draw His people back to Himself.
When dealing with uncomfortable circumstances and the frustration of earthbound living, you can be assured that God is always up to something behind the scenes of our lives.
As I was reading the book of Joel recently, it was if the words jumped off the page and into my spirit as a startling reminder that even in days of dire circumstances, we serve a God who is wooing His children back to His heart.
"Hear this, elders, and give ear, all inhabitants of the land! Has anything like this happened in your days, or in the days of your fathers? Tell it to your children, and let your children tell their children, and let their children tell another generation. What the fledging locust left, the adult locust has eaten; what the adult locust left, the larval locust has eaten; what the larval locust left, the hopper locust has eaten." (Joel 1:2-4).

I have felt, during the late winter and the spring of 2020, that our Father has been setting the stage for perhaps the greatest revival in the history of the world.
The Father is working to turn the hearts of this generation toward the unshakable kingdom of God.
"Yet even now, declares the Lord, return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting and with weeping and with mourning. Rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and He relents from punishing" (Joel 2:12-13).
As we return to the Father with repentance and with praise, He will bless His people once again with heavenly abundance.
"So the Lord answered and said to His people, Here! I am sending you grain, new wine, and oil, and you will be satisfied ... Do not be afraid, land; exult and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things! Do not be afraid, beasts of the field, because the wild pastures flourish, because the tree bears its fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their abundance. And children of Zion, exult and rejoice in the Lord your God ... Then the threshing floors will be filled with grain, and the vats will overflow with new wine and oil. And I will compensate you for the years the locusts have eaten—the larval locust, the hopper locust, and the fledgling locust—My great army which I have sent against you" (Joel 2:19a, 21-23a, 24-25).
In the night hours, while I have been praying, I have felt the assurance of the Lord saying that He is drawing Millennials to Himself as never before.
I have wondered, while in deep intercession, if perhaps it would take a pandemic to create a revival;
I have heard the whisper of the Spirit say to me, "They are coming back! Millennials will fill my altars by the thousands.
They will carry the torch of Ravi Zacharias, of Kathryn Kuhlman, of Oral Roberts and of Billy Graham.
They will attach themselves to the truth of the written Word of God and they will be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit."
If you are the parent of a prodigal, I have heard the voice of the Lord clearly state, "Not one will be lost. Not one.
They are coming back.
The Holy Spirit is wooing them even now."
"And it will be that, afterwards, I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, and your young men will see visions. Even on the menservants and maidservants in those days I will pour out My Spirit" (Joel 2:28-29).
I believe that the Lord is saying, "We are in "those days" that Joel prophesied about nearly 3,000 years ago.
These are the days, in the wake and devastation of a worldwide pandemic, that our Father is doing a miracle!
He will provide, He will restore and He will welcome.
He will pour His Spirit out as never before. He will.

WE ARE THE RESISTANCE

Casting social distancing to the wind, protesters march across America.
Suddenly the virus is not dangerous.
The very same media that screamed bloody murder when a handful of people worshipped in church, are rooting for thousands to stand shoulder to shoulder, as they riot in every major city.
Why? Because they are the resistance!
They are the voices of reason and truth.
They alone know what justice for George Floyd should look like.
They are the newly anointed keepers of the flame.
The virus can’t kill the vanguards of truth.
They hold the key to America’s emergence from the dark ages.
Sadly, their movement is already falling apart.
Not because the crime that catalyzed it wasn’t evil enough.
The killing of George Floyd should horrify and outrage all of us.
No, the problem is not their idealism, it’s the irresistible pull of human nature on the resistance—it’s the core absence of the one element that brings justice.
That is why sincere protesters will be drowned out by violent thugs who are spoiling for a fight.
You will not hear the call for change above the din of smashed cars and burning buildings.
The speakers will be upstaged by the looters as they pass by carrying stolen televisions.
Like so many times before, a noble venture has degenerated into mob mentality.
They will scream the screams we have heard so many times before.
Their bullhorns will cry out the same tired slogans.
And like so many times before, their anger will not turn back the tide of wickedness in America.
Their voices, like so many times before, will flicker and die.
Meanwhile, the true resistance—with the exception of a prophetic core— is asleep at the wheel.
The army that holds the only answer to racial injustice—for the most part—doesn’t know who they are.
They took the gold out of their message and replaced it with powerless sermons made of tin.
Had there been more of the fire of God in the church, there would be less fires in the streets.
If there was more of hell preached in the pulpit, there would be less hell being lived out in the inner city.
The people with the solution and something relevant to say, are apologizing instead of evangelizing.
The people with the bankrupt human remedy who have nothing to say, are declaring it with conviction.
No movement that lacks authority over Satan will ever break the vicious cycle of history.
The Who had it right when they sang, “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”
There will be no peace.
There will be no justice, until the power of Satan is broken.
The devil merely allows one regime to replace another.
And soon, the new regime practices the same abuses as the old one, and so, on it goes.
That is, until reformation arrives through a revived church!
It all begins with this realization:
WE ARE THE RESISTANCE!
Why? Because the Word of God says:
“Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
We carry the cure.
We own the real power to bring about the end of evil.
We are the resistance!
On this Sunday, two thousand years ago, 120 people who didn’t know what they were destined to be, waited in an upper room.
They had no inkling of the role God had saved for them.
They had no seat at the table of human progress.
They were not the voice proclaiming the solutions to the wicked misery of mankind.
Then something happened to change all of that!
The sound of a might rushing wind.
Divided tongues of fire rested on each of them.
A dam burst.
Languages roared out.
They left the safe zone of the upper room to introduce the world to the resistance!
The outpouring of many tongues stripped the thousands who heard them of their protection against God.
At the crescendo, when the crowd had been convicted to the heart, Peter stood to make the bravest declaration in history:
“THIS IS THAT WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET JOEL!”
Today is the day for us to submit to God and resist the devil.
Resist what Satan told the government to do to your church.
Resist the cowardly Christians who assail you for doing church today.
Resist your own fears and the need for “community acceptance.”
There is a greater victory to be won.
There is a glorious and mighty God ready to arm His church with words, gifts of power, miracles, and authority over the devil and all of his byproducts of suicide, addiction, fear, hatred, and prejudice.
Shout it from the highest mountain…we are the resistance and our mighty God is proclaiming liberty throughout the land! Preach it, vessel of God!
Preach it!
“And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh;

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also, on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.
For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
There shall be deliverance as the Lord has said,
Among the remnant whom the Lord calls” (Joel 2:28-32).
But, what did it mean for Joel’s words to be fulfilled?
It meant that injustice, tyranny, and perversion would be challenged by the Cross.
The defeat of Satan was now being enforced by the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
The teachings of a gentle Carpenter would soon topple the Roman Empire.
A movement had arrived that would not be silent, but would resist the devil, until our Lord returns!

Vessels of Fire and Glory
Vessels of Fire and Glory is Mario’s newest book. It reached number one on Amazon among all Spirit-filled books. John Kilpatrick who led the Pensacola Revival said this after he read Vessels of Fire and Glory: “As I read the manuscript for Mario Murillo’s new book, Vessels of Fire and Glory, I said to myself, “Finally!” Mario has measured the church and the nation in this season and did not hold anything back. His honesty is like the sun rising inside a dark cave. This release is a paradox—it is sobering and refreshing; it is symptoms and the cure. I believe this revivalist has penned a treatise that should be in the hands of all who lead the work of God.”
 Edgewise
Here is a book about the end times with a totally different approach. It does not focus on how the world will end but on how to live as the curtain comes down on humanity. Powerful, practical, and encouraging.
