'MODERATE MUSLIMS': APPARENTLY WORTHLESS!

Exclusive: Barry Farber hopes future includes both humanitarianism, common sense

The answer is: Fourteen years, two months and two days. So what’s the question?

The question is: How long after 9/11 until terrorists forget about box-cutters and hijacking airplanes and crashing them into buildings, and just go out and kill as many people as they can, people who are just going about their lives on, say, a Friday night in, say, New York or London or Moscow or Gaffney, South Carolina, or maybe Paris?

We now have our answer, writ large in blood. What now?

In Europe they’re still calling them “do-gooders.” Though outdated, we know who they mean. They mean those who clap and cheer at train stations as new waves of refugees arrive – at the rate of 8,000 a day! – and remind them constantly how happy we are to see them and to have them here, and demand we welcome more and more. After all, aren’t they innocent victims, and aren’t we kissed by tongues of prosperity that enable us to help them? How dare we not all be do-gooders?

During the Hungarian refugee crisis following their futile freedom-fight against Soviet oppression, I served, without pay, as coordinator for Catholic Charities to relocate Hungarians in North Carolina – lots of meeting trains from New York at 6 a.m. in Greensboro! I retain the heart of a do-gooder, but I’ve acquired the brains to plead for a common-sense exception for what’s going on right now.

Let’s look at “oppression.” We have limitless examples to choose from. The Nazi oppression of the Jews, Soviet repression of Hungarians and dozens of other ethnic groups, the Muslim oppression of Mideast Christians, Idi Amin’s Ugandan oppression of East Indians, the Chinese oppression of Tibetans. To make the point, let’s just go with the one most familiar, the Nazi oppression of the Jews.

Did the Jews of Germany crash any German party, barge in, overwhelm their German hosts with a high birth rate, demands that they be allowed to form a Jewish nation within Germany and even have their own laws? 

Did the Jews of Germany not only refrain from eating pork, but fight to keep non-Jewish Germans from eating pork and other “treyf” (non-kosher) foods? Of course not. 

The Jews were loyal citizens of Germany since the Middle Ages, and contributed mightily to German culture, science, economy, literature and, yes, even the German military! The Jews of Germany were assimilated. 

It was a horrifying anomaly to see aging Jewish men ushered to the gas chambers still wearing Iron Crosses they’d been awarded for heroism in combat for Germany in World War I!

Please, Do-Gooders, keep on doing good. Your efforts to treat the current wave of Muslim refugees as we’ve treated every other in our past, however, is not good! 

Obviously, not all but a dangerously high proportion of Islamic refugees have no intention of assimilating. The bad ones do not wish to be part of an increasingly successful America. They wish America’s demise, along with that of every other non-Muslim nation.

Holland, a liberal democracy, has now officially revoked its dream of “multiculturism.” 

Sweden is said to be on the brink of national de-stabilization as a result of the Islamic influx. Europe is bending, cracking, breaking. The unfunny-joke-of-the-moment across Europe is, “These aren’t refugees. This is an invasion!”

Why aren’t the Arab nations themselves admitting their Arab brothers into their countries? What, if anything, are we doing to leverage those Arab nations into relieving this humanitarian catastrophe?

I don’t know the appropriate name for this attitude of mine, but please put me on the left-most side of whatever we decide to call it. 

My policy bunkmates don’t even want to hear the phrase “moderate Muslims,” even though we have entire nations and hundreds of millions of individuals who qualify for that designation. Forget gratitude. 

We Americans gave blood and treasure to rescue Muslims five times in the past 24 years! That won’t delay your murder by the Jihadis. I want lawyers who can draft ways-and-means to continue our humanitarian efforts while making it difficult or impossible for those Muslims we admit and shelter to do us harm! 

And I don’t care how much political correctness is violated in the process! I want innocent people protected. And, please, no complaints that the FBI or the NYPD are infiltrating Arabic-speaking agents into mosques to get the drift of the sermons.

Right after 9/11 my friends were rejecting any notion of “moderate Muslims.” I said, “There are plenty. Give them time and they’ll show up!” Fourteen years, two months and two days later they sure gave Paris a hell of a night. 

My moderates haven’t shown up yet. When an honest man is shown proof that he is wrong, he either quits being wrong or quits being honest. I still say there are moderate Muslims. Apparently, though, they are worthless!

One of the murderers of Paris, now deceased, was overheard by a survivor saying, “There’s nothing better than American blood!” He meant from the murderer’s point of view.

He’s right if we’re talking about American blood at normal body temperature.

God help you if you make it boil!

My comments: The Koran does not recognize a so called "Moderate Muslim." A Muslim either believes the Koran or does not. Those who believe the Koran are obligate to Dominate the World by whatever means is necessary.
