Abortion lives on a foundation of liesDear Friend, I’m sure you’ve heard them:
So much for facts and common sense The abortion industry has been pumping out these one-liners and lies for so long that many people, sadly even Christians, believe them and use them. But God can use you and me to help persuade our fellow Americans that life is precious and must be protected from the moment of conception. Thankfully, with the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade last June, God has given us the opportunity to end abortion at the state level. And more than a dozen states have already enacted laws protecting pre-born infants. But many states hang in the balance. If you’re thinking, “What can I do?” first and foremost, you can pray and ask God to use you to end this scourge on our nation. To help, I’d like to send you some powerful resources as thanks for your generous donation. The first is Randy Alcorn’s handy short book, Pro-Choice or Pro-Life?—Examining 15 Pro-Choice Claims. In a patient, logical, and reasonable manner, Alcorn looks at the arguments for abortion and gives you clear, thoughtful responses you can use to help others choose life, too. Plus, in thanks for your gift, I’ll send you TWO “Precious Feet” gold lapel pins—one to wear, one to share. The pin is a powerful witness to the humanity of the unborn as it is an exact representation of the pre-born child’s feet at 10 weeks. And for your much-appreciated gift of $40 or more, I’ll also include a DVD of an encouraging discussion I had with Janet Porter, one of the nation’s foremost pro-life leaders and the architect and driving force behind the Heartbeat Law. Passed in 15 states, the Heartbeat Law ensures, as Janet says, that “if the heartbeat is detected, the baby is protected.” The DVD, A Heart for Life, also includes one of Janet’s stirring pro-life speeches. During this time of highly charged debate in our nation, I’m thankful for friends like you who will stand with me in support of life. May God bless you and give you great courage as you live out your faith in the public square. Sincerely, Rev. Robert J. Pacienza | ||||||
