STOP the mutilation of our children! DOUBLE YOUR GIFT TODAY!
Friend,
Joe Biden’s Assistant Health Secretary was born “Richard Levine.” He married and had two children before deciding to leave his wife and children to “identify” as a “woman” in his 40s.
Today, Levine, who has a doctorate in pediatric medicine, has long blonde hair and wears low-heeled women’s shoes and long skirts. Levine pushes puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and mutilating surgeries for children.
In a recent National Public Radio (NPR) interview, Levine falsely claimed, “There is no argument among medical professionals — pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. — about the value and importance of gender-affirming care.”
Levine LIED. The consensus forming is AGAINST these mutilating and sterilizing measures involving children.
For instance, the government of Sweden recently changed its stance, stating that the risks to such surgical and chemical body alterations “currently outweigh the possible benefits.”
The government of Finland went further, noting, “In light of available evidence, gender reassignment of minors is an experimental practice,” and that “no irreversible treatment should be initiated” on children.
Great Britain has also changed its stance by permanently closing the Tavistock Clinic because of the rising number of medical professionals, parents and children who expressed concerns over the clinic’s surgical and chemical “transgender” sterilization services.
Several states in America are now pushing back against this dangerous gender ideology. And some members of Congress are now raising concern. After hearing victim testimony, the South Dakota legislature passed a bill to end these mutilating surgeries.
STOP the mutilation of our children! Fax the Governors and Congress NOW!
Meanwhile, here in the U.S., our own Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is also at odds with Levin and the trans-pushers who claim there are no long-term negative effects to cross-gender hormone therapy.
In July 2022, the FDA issued a warning on puberty blockers because these drugs can cause brain swelling and vision loss.
But Levine wants MORE kids on these dangerous drugs. That just does not square with what we are seeing in the lives of young children ...
Daisy did not have a lot of social skills as a kid. She was a tomboy who preferred jeans and sweatshirts to cover her growing feminine body. The girls at school began calling her a lesbian.
Without a solid support network, Daisy spent most of her time online where LGBTQ groups seemed more welcoming.
But early exposure to violent pornography online taught her that womanhood was equated with weakness, objectification and victimhood. Daisy was not attracted to men, but she also did not want to be a vulnerable female likely to be choked, hit or punished as she had seen in pornographic videos.
Becoming a “man” just seemed easier, especially when there were so many people on social media celebrating their transitions and receiving adulation and support from thousands.
Daisy’s parents sent her to a psychiatrist. But while Daisy says it was clear that the psychiatrist did not think it wise, she also did not try to dissuade the girl from “transitioning” into a man out of fear of losing her license.
As a result, Daisy began taking testosterone at 18 and had her breasts removed by the age of 20. But like many who underwent these mutilating procedures before their prefrontal cortexes (part of the brain that helps determine rational thinking and decision making, as well as personality) finished developing at age 25 or so, Daisy realized she had made a mistake.
Just three years after her double mastectomy, Daisy stopped taking testosterone and “detransitioned” to her God-given female self. Now in her mid 20s, Daisy is happily married with a baby of her own. But she will never be able to nurse her child.
In addition to our work with state legislatures and members of Congress, Liberty Counsel is also defending children through several cases involving laws that ban “change counsel.” Certain cities and states around the nation have banned Christian talk therapy for gender dysphoria and unwanted same-sex attraction.
In 2012, when California banned counseling for gender dysphoria and unwanted same-sex attraction and behaviors, Liberty Counsel fought for our children. We fought again in 2013 when New Jersey passed similar laws. And last year, we won at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Otto, et al. v. City of Boca Raton, FL, et al. And this month we also won at the court of appeals in Vazzo v. City of Tampa.
But the captives are not yet free, as other states and local governments continue to ban this lifesaving counseling. Please consider helping our legal fight with a recurring monthly donation. And a special Challenge Grant will DOUBLE THE IMPACT of every donation made today.
