The left has succeeded in dividing the nation – now what?
Exclusive: Patrice Lewis notes how today's battle ultimately is over Judeo-Christian values

The left and its avatars (feminism, Antifa, BLM, Marxism, socialism, communism, environmentalism, etc.) is very effectively dividing America.
Having taken over education, entertainment and social media, it is now endlessly engaged in pitting groups against each other.
Blacks against whites.
Haves against have nots.
Rich against poor.
Elite against plebeian.
Religious against atheists. Gays against straights.
Victims against oppressors.
Women against men.
Even the vaccinated against the unvaccinated.
Have I missed anything?
As enemies of leftism, conservatives are – they must be – painted in the worse possible light:
intolerant, racist, sexist, white supremacist, neo-Nazi, patriarchal and every other epithet you can dream up.
But if you were to ask the common conservative on the street what his or her true bias is, it comes down to this: left against right.
Take racism, for example.
The accusation of racism has become the default go-to allegation for anything and everything the left doesn't like.
But Dennis Prager once wrote a column explaining how to tell whether or not someone is a racist in three easy questions:
1. Do you have more in common with, and are you personally more comfortable in the company of, a white leftist or a black conservative?
2. Would you rather have nine white leftists or nine black conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court?
3. Would you rather your child marry a black Christian conservative or a white non-Christian liberal?
Conservatives aren't biased against people who are black, brown, green, purple, or any other skin color.
We're biased against people who are liberal.
It's not skin color, it's attitude.
It's not sexual orientation, it's character.
Why is this so hard for the left to understand?
Of course there are true racists, but they are the exception.
The vast, vast majority of Americans do NOT judge people by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Silly me, I thought that was a good thing.
Leftists will demonize and attempt to eradicate anything that is a threat to their power.
Religion is tops on their list, hence the ongoing efforts to secularize everything.
A belief in God is completely at odds with a belief in the state as god, so religion must go.
In many ways, the left has achieved its goal.
There are now two Americas:
Those who work, and those who won't.
Those who build, and those who destroy.
Those who educate, and those who indoctrinate.
Those who speak, and those who cancel.
Those who laud equality, and those who tout equity.
Those who are professional victims of imagined "oppression," and those who accept personal responsibility for their behavior.
Those who believe success should be applauded, and those who believe success should be punished.
Those who live by emotion and feelings, and those who live by logic and reason.
"America is not divided by the differences in our outcomes, it is divided by the differences in our efforts," notes Rochester talk-radio host Bob Lonsberry.
"It is a false philosophy to say one man's success comes about unavoidably as the result of another man's victimization."
Regardless of circumstance or bad experiences, those who do best in life refuse to wallow in victimhood, anger, contempt and self-pity.
If they need help, they get it, then get on with things.
But the left refuses to recognize this.
Instead, they create things that hold people back, and then blame anyone and everyone when their life stinks.
They refuse to acknowledge that true empowerment comes from how we handle and react to life's events, both good and bad.
Since the left cannot win converts to its cause by truth or facts or logic or any other sensible measurement, it operates by lying, projection and smearing.
Their tactics inculcate greed, envy and sloth.
Anyone who disagrees with them is labeled as (pick one) intolerant / sexist / racist / patriarchal / homophobic / etc., and then gets canceled (or worse).
Their instinct is to compel rather than persuade.
But the best way for the left to grow – and to make sure Karl Marx is embedded in America's DNA – is the way dictatorships have grown since the dawn of time:
By capturing children and indoctrinating them from an early age. Works beautifully.
Gosh, what a pity parents are catching on and fighting back.
Anyone who objects to the left-wing agenda is demonized.
No one objects to legal immigration, for example;
but encouraging unchecked illegal immigration is done solely to accrue left-wing votes and increase the dependent class.
When national leaders urge Americans to address "income equality," this is government code-speak for legalized thievery by inculcating greed and envy.
It's been said there are "Four Horsemen of America's Apocalypse" – victimhood, demonization, a cause to believe in and lies.
For generations, the left has cultivated these horsemen as tools for dividing America.
Additionally, because the left has chosen to reject the "bourgeois culture" of Judeo-Christian values and instead embrace their own values (which they claim are morally superior), they feel free to riot, burn, harass, murder, mob, vandalize, loot, cancel, protest, block, intimidate, destroy, sue, topple, deface, scream at, beat and otherwise engage in mayhem with impunity.
People with Judeo-Christian values do none of those things (because if they do, they're not practicing Judeo-Christian values).
And so the divide in America grows wider.
Whatever the left touches, it ruins.
Because they politicize everything – the arts, education, mathematics, medicine, science, sports, entertainment, religion, law enforcement, marriage, free speech, race relations, gender relations, child raising, sex ed, economics, history, you name it – these institutions are spiraling down.
I cannot think of a single thing – not one thing – that has improved after being touched by the left.
To all you leftists – congratulations.
We're now divided. What's next?
Abraham Lincoln famously said
"A house divided against itself cannot stand."
The unraveling of social cohesion has consequences.
Once social cohesion unravels, the nation unravels.
This, dear readers, is the aim of the left – to topple America through internal divisions.
From the ashes, they expect their Utopian phoenix to rise.
But of course, what will rise from the ashes will be something fearsome and deadly.
Sowing the wind means reaping the whirlwind – and a tornado doesn't care about your political suasion.
It simply destroys everything in its path.
Remember that next time someone threatens to cancel you.
