Exposed: FBI’s McCabe Hid Weiner Laptop Emails For a MONTH
A full month before Congress was notified, former FBI Director Andrew McCabe knew of the thousands of emails found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop in connection to Hillary Clinton’s homebrew server.
McCabe learned about the emails before Sept. 28, 2016, and then-Director James Comey notified Congress about them on Oct. 28, just 11 days before the presidential election, The Wall Street Journal is reporting.
That lag in the timeline is the focus of an investigation by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz and part of a wide probe, mandated by Congress, into the FBI’s actions leading up to the 2016 election.
The timeline of when the emails were discovered was found in text messages between FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
McCabe left his position Monday ahead of his planned retirement, effective March 18. The Post reported Tuesday that McCabe had met with FBI Director Christopher Wray to discuss the inspector general’s investigation prior to the announcement of his departure.
On Sept. 28, Strzok sent Page a message that he had been “called up to Andy’s office” and was told about “hundreds of thousands of emails turned over by Weiner’s [attorney] to sdny,” a reference to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
The trove of emails included a “ton of material from spouse,” a reference to Weiner’s then-wife Huma Abedin, a top adviser to Clinton.
However, the existence of the emails on Weiner’s laptop was not made public until Oct. 28, when Comey informed Congress in a letter that the FBI was re-opening the Clinton investigation.
Strzok and two other agents spent the weekend before the Nov. 8 election sifting through about 3,000 emails from Weiner’s laptop, the Journal reported. Early on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 6, Strzok texted Page that the team had found “no new classified” emails, Fox News reports.
That day, former director Comey told Congress that the Weiner emails didn’t change the FBI’s initial decision not to file charges against Clinton.
During that time, the feds were investigating Weiner for crimes related to sexually explicit messages he sent to a teenaged girl. Weiner pleaded guilty to a charge of transferring obscene material to a minor and was sentenced to 21 months in prison.
The conservative group Judicial Watch has claimed that at least 18 emails containing classified information were found on Weiner’s laptop. Among them were emails from Abedin’s “clintonemail.com” account as well as from her Blackberry. Comey told lawmakers earlier this year that he believes Abedin regularly forwarded emails to Weiner for him to print out so she could give them to Clinton.
Of 30,000 work-related emails turned over by Mrs. Clinton’s lawyers to the State Department, about 110 were determined to have varying levels of classified material on them, Mr. Comey said then. He called the handling of such information by Mrs. Clinton and her aides “extremely careless” but not subject to prosecution, the Journal reports.
What do you think? Is this time lag suspicious? Is this standard operating procedure for the FBI? Should President Trump release the FISA memo today?

My comments: It is Obvious now, that Obama's DOJ and FBI were CORRUPT. It is also Obvious that Special Council Mueller's Trump/Russia Investigation was based on a Phony Dossier, paid for by Hillary Clinton and the DNC. It was on the basis of the Dossier, that the FISA Warrant was given to Spy on Trump during his Campaign and after his Election. The DOJ and FBI people, involved in this Corruption, should go to Jail.
