Bozell: 'Clorox, Gerber, HomeAdvisor and Oreo Just as Responsible’ as ‘The View’ for Its Anti-Christian Bigotry
Since ABC’s “The View” won’t apologize for, and its sponsors won’t condemn, the show’s anti-Christian bigotry, Americans need to take action, Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell said Thursday.
In a video message to the nation, Bozell called on Americans to join MRC’s national campaign by demanding ABC and its sponsors apologize for insulting millions of Christians in the U.S.:
“We kicked off a national campaign aimed at holding responsible those who are promoting bigotry on ABC’s ‘The View.’”“We’ve done this because recently Joy Behar and Sonny Hostin of ‘The View’ attacked Vice President Pence’s Christianity.”
“When they said these things, they were attacking all Christians,” Bozell explains in the video.
But, both ABC and the advertisers have ignored MRC’s call for an end to anti-Christian bigotry, Bozell says:
“They won’t apologize. Maybe, ABC supports this bigotry – so, we’ve moved on to the advertisers.”“Clorox, Gerber, HomeAdvisor and Oreo are just as responsible for what happened on ‘The View’ as Behar and Hostin.”“They, too, need to apologize for supporting this bigotry with their advertising dollars. Their silence on this matter is deplorable. Do they support bigotry, too? I hope that’s not the case.”
By convincing advertisers to pull their ad dollars, Americans can force ABC and “The View” to stop insulting Christians, Bozell says:
“We want these advertisers to publicly commit that, until the bigots of the ‘The View’ publicly apologize for slandering Christians, none of their advertising dollars will be spent on that show.”
