THE APOSTASY FROM DANIEL

Listen to the Prophet Daniel speak of the Apostasy

From the Amplified Version, Daniel 8:10-12:

And [in my vision] THIS HORN (the Beast) grew great

Even against The Host of Heaven

[God's True People, the Saints],

And some of The Host and of the Stars [priests] (and Saints)

It Cast Down to the ground and Trampled on them,

Yes, [THIS HORN] Magnified Itself,

Even [matching itself]

AGAINST the Prince of The Host [of Heaven] (Christ);

And from Him the Continual Burnt Offering (the worship of God)

Was taken away,

And the Place of God's Sanctuary (the Church)

Was Cast Down and Profaned.

And The Host [the chosen people]

And strength were given to [The Wicked Horn]

Together with The Continual Burnt Offering (the worship of God),

Because of the Transgressions [of God's people]--

Their Abounding Irreverence, Ungodliness and lack of Piety.

And Righteousness and TRUTH were Cast Down to the ground,

And [The Wicked Horn] accomplished this [by Divine Permission]

And Prospered.

Why is the Antichrist revealed?

Because of the Transgressions of God's people

Their abounding Irreverence,

Ungodliness and lack of Piety.

TRUTH is cast to the ground

As we see is happening today.

Then the worship of God is taken away;

The Church of God is cast down and Profaned.

The Antichrist is allowed to Prosper for a time

By Divine Permission.
