Over the weekend, Hamas leaders dismissed the yet-to-be-released U.S. peace plan as "worthless." Without knowing its contents, a Hamas spokesman declared, "The Palestinian people reject the plan and won't allow it to pass."

Over the weekend, Hamas leaders dismissed the yet-to-be-released U.S. peace plan as "worthless." Without knowing its contents, a Hamas spokesman declared, "The Palestinian people reject the plan and won't allow it to pass."
Ever since the Trump administration recognized Jerusalem and announced plans to relocate the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, Palestinians and Hamas have accused the United States of conspiring "to eliminate the Palestinian cause and national rights."
"Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinians," a Hamas leader asserted. "Both parts of Jerusalem, east and west, are Palestinian."
And another terror group operating in the Gaza Strip announced, "All the Zionist-American schemes and conspiracies will be foiled by the Palestinian resistance"
Israel is squarely in the crosshairs of Iran and its proxies in Syria and Lebanon, as well as Hamas operating out of Gaza.
Last week, Netanyahu cautioned Iran "not to test Israel's resolve" while he held up wreckage from an Iranian drone recently downed by Israel's defense forces.
The war of words escalated even further when a senior official for the radical Islamic nation issued this threat:
"If they [Israel] carry out the slightest unwise move against Iran, we will level Tel Aviv to the ground and will not give any opportunity to Netanyahu to flee."
"Iran operates 10 military bases in Syria and is training militias loyal to President Bashar Assad's regime for a possible battle with Israel," according to a U.S. military analyst quoted in The Times of Israel. The analyst also reported Iran has "two key facilities located near the border with Israel...."
