Do You Need Help? By Buife Nomeh
"This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles." (Psalm 34:6, KJV)
Recently, I've been in a place where there is absolutely nobody who can help. It isn't that people won't have ideas or ideals of what they think I should do or be doing, but I know that those ideals fall outside of God's will for me. Even when I need something to help me achieve what God has laid in my mind, there is no one who I can approach for assistance who wouldn't tell me to do what he or she, and in fact everyone, thinks I should be doing.
So, I fall back into the place where I am helpless, where it is just me trying to figure out how on earth I am going to do God's will. The whole atmosphere is blurred--except for that huge ray of light called hope. And the only sound I hear, in the silence that deafens me, is that of a Voice asking, "Do you trust Me?"
How can I trust another? Everyone seems to know so much about how crazy I'm becoming, seeking God's will. So, yes I will trust You; I will trust the God of my vision. And I want to encourage you to trust Him too. Trust in Him because, He alone can fulfill the desires of our hearts, especially when they are His desires too.
