Thank you Lord for your promises in your word.
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare of the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him.
3 He will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter (terrorist) and from the destructive plague.
4 He will shield you with His wings. He will shelter you with His feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day,
9 If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling.
14 The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in My Name.
Psalm91:1-5,9-10,14
Dear Friends,
Unfortunately, there is a word that has taken on new meaning for us. That word is "terror." Sadly, it is constantly in the news.
"Terror" is not a new word to God. (It appears over 58xs in the Bible and means intense fear.) God has always been aware of the depth of fear and horror that is out there.
Fortunately, He has also provided an escape from any terror.
He is a secure and safe place for each of us.
Psalm 91:1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
We don't know what lies ahead.
Israel was terrified to enter the Promised Land and face the 'giants' there.
But they had the promises of God.
We have those same promises. "His faithful promises are your armor and protection" (vs 4).
Regardless of the state of the world, one thing remains constant: God is always there for shelter.
He wants nothing to sway you from trusting in Him.
