'No different at all'
One side of a social media image shows a woman holding a flag and a Bible and a gun. This other shows a jihadi holding a rifle and a Quran.
And a former government official, Michael Hayden, a veteran of CIA operations and more, says there's no difference.

Which prompted a commentary at the Gateway Pundit to describe him as "unhinged."
It's just the latest statement that falls into the "extreme" category by former CIA chief Hayden, amidst his "unhinged behavior and violent rhetoric" against American citizens.
The Pundit said, "An X post shows a picture of a woman holding an American flag, a Bible, and a gun next to a terrorist holding the Koran and a gun. The post asks,'“What’s the difference?' Hayden responds, 'No different (sic) at all.'"
"That’s right. A former general in the United States military and the man who led the CIA thinks Christian grandmothers who love America and embrace a constitutionally given right to bear arms are the same as terrorists who actively seek to murder civilians," the Pundit said.
The violent and anti-American rhetoric is becoming more and more of a fixture for Hayden.
WND reported only weeks ago when U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville's office called police on Hayden over Hayden's suggestion the senator be removed from the "human race."
It happened even as Hayden was creatively "reinterpreting" his threat to suggest he was saying that Tuberville be no longer "considered" part of the human race.
WND reported when Hayden shocked social media with his statement, which came in response to a question about Tuberville being removed from a Senate committee.
"How about the human race?" Hayden charged.
The dispute is over Tuberville's ongoing hold on military promotions because of the Pentagon's apparently illegal decision to use taxpayer money to provide for abortion travel and such.
Tuberville warned about Hayden's "calling for a politically motivated assassination. This statement is disgusting and it is repugnant to everything we believe in as Americans.
Given General Hayden's long career in Washington, he must have known that, by making such a statement, he was committing a serious crime. His own efforts today to reinterpret what he said are only a tacit admission of guilt. If we still have a nonpolitical justice system in this country, then General Hayden will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
Tuberville pointed out that Hayden was involved in some of the "biggest failures in the history of American intelligence," include the 9/11 attacks, the lack of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and more, such as his participation in the "Russia hoax" and his lies about Hunter Biden's laptop "to get Joe Biden elected president," which all "did enormous damage" to the nation.
The Pundit noted some other wild comments from Hayden, including when he "trolled for the execution of President Trump" following a hoax about Trump having nuclear documents.
And he suggested it was a "good idea" when social media leftists asked, "Can we send the MAGA wearing unvaxxed to Afghanistan, no use sending that plane back empty?"
And he further likened agents of the DHS, ICE and CBP to Nazis when the open southern border was at one point in the news, and a social media image showed a Nazi death camp.
Hayden's conclusion? "Other governments have separated mothers and children."
