I believe that Scripture answers this question.
Listen to the apostle Paul speak about this:
“The coming [of the Lawless One, the Antichrist]
Is through the activity and working of Satan,
And will be attended by Great Power
And will all sorts of [pretended] Miracles
And Signs and Delusive Marvels--
[All of them] Lying Wonders--
And by Unlimited Seduction to Evil
And with all Wicked Deception
For those who are (going to perdition)
Perishing because they did not welcome the Truth
BUT REFUSED TO LOVE IT
THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED.
Therefore God sends upon them
A MISLEADING INFLUENCE,
A working of Error
AND A STRONG DELUSION
To make them believe what is False.
In order that all may be Judged and Condemned
Who did not Believe--
Who Refused to Adhere to,
Trust in and Rely upon the Truth,
But [instead] took Pleasure in UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:9-12, AMP)
Christ Jesus said this:
False Christs and False Prophets
Will appear and preform Great Signs and Miracles
TO DECEIVE EVEN THE ELECT--
If that were possible.
See I have told you ahead of time.
(Matthew 24:24-25)
I believe that Christ Jesus was speaking here,
About the same thing that the apostle Paul
Spoke about in 2 Thessalonians 2.
Therefore, the Church will witness
The appearing of the Antichrist.
Today, the Whole World, under the Deception of Satan,
Is preparing to meet their “god,”
Whom they will worship and receive his “mark,”
Condemning themselves to Eternal Hell.
The only ones who will be Saved
Are the Elect of God;
Those whose names are written
In the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 13:8).
