Geoffrey has served his country faithfully for 29 years, first as an active-duty airman, then as a US Air Force Reservist.
Geoffrey is scheduled to retire with full honors and benefits on December 1, 2021.
But that schedule and those long-awaited retirement benefits are at risk, along with his honorable discharge status because of Joe Biden forcing every member of the armed forces to take COVID jabs.
The US Department of Defense (DOD) ordered every active and reserve military member to get the shots or face dishonorable discharge.
They are being told there are NO RELIGIOUS EXEMPTIONS – and virtually NO MEDICAL EXEMPTIONS (no matter their medical status).
These brave heroes are being threatened with failure “to obey a lawful general order or regulation,” the consequence of which is court-martial.
They are being threatened with dishonorable discharge, the worst kind of punishment for someone who sacrificed everything for our freedom.
Biden’s DOD orders are not lawful.
First, the only FDA approved COVID shot is BioNTech Comirnaty, but it is not yet available.
Second, in addition to military law, refusing to even consider religious exemptions violates the First Amendment and the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act (a powerful law which the Supreme Court called a “super statute”).
No matter their term of service, rank, honors or tours of duty in the most dangerous places in the world, our service member clients are being threatened with dishonorable discharge for merely requesting a religious exemption.
Some have even been told they will be imprisoned and held in solitary confinement if they refuse the jab.
When Geoffrey arrived for his last training weekend earlier this month, he was ordered to get the jab.
He submitted a religious exemption.
Geoffrey has only four to five days left to wear his Air Force uniform.
After submitting his religious exemption, he was berated and bullied by the base commander to get the shot no later than 16:30 hours, (4:30 P.M.) on October 2.
If he doesn’t, everything Geoffrey worked for these 29 years may be lost.
“If my 1 Dec 2021 retirement is granted, I literally have 4-5 more duty days wearing the uniform as a reservist,” writes Geoffrey.
“I should not be required to accept the vaccine just to retire or be placed on an administrative hold just to forfeit my service and be punished for not accepting the vaccine.”
Geoffrey has dedicated his entire adult life to defending freedom. He has missed births, birthdays, weddings and anniversaries.
Bullets and bombs were common in some of his tours of duty.
He slept in dirt and through dust storms with no showers for weeks.
He witnessed unit members killed and dismembered.
Their cries of pain will never leave him.
It is unimaginable Geoffrey would be treated this way.
The very freedom we enjoy is because of men and women like Geoffrey.
These mandates and actions against the men and women of the military are EVIL.
And the DOD’s continuing flagrant disregard for the law is despicable.
Liberty Counsel is filing a class action lawsuit against Biden’s DOD. We will defend these brave heroes to the gates of hell if necessary.
And by God’s grace, we WILL defeat these evil mandates.
