Someone has flipped a switchDear Friend, Recently, I was asked what I mean when I refer to cancel culture. What is it? That’s a good question. Cancel culture is the Left’s practice of censoring or banning people of whom it disapproves. And the Left is becoming increasingly emboldened to use this tactic to stifle your voice and take away your free speech and religious liberty. It’s not just the titans of Big Tech employing cancel culture tactics. In just the last couple of months, it’s as though someone flipped a switch and corporate America is now in a mad rush to deplatform, disenfranchise, and silence those with whom it disagrees. Major corporations, broadcast outlets, and financial institutions, to name a few, are no longer willing to do business with some Christians and conservatives. As you well know, Lifetime TV has refused to air our Truths That Transform program on their network unless we agreed not to air “controversial” programs. But the “controversial” subjects they take issue with are moral issues that the Bible speaks to, such as abortion, marriage, which is between one man and one woman, gender, which God determines as male and female in the womb. It’s these issues today that trigger the cancel culture mob. But tomorrow, it could be just using sacred Scripture which could be considered hateful and intolerant because it clearly teaches that there is only one means of salvation: faith in Jesus Christ alone. We will not give up our Gospel ground! My friend, we live in serious times, even dangerous times. But God chose us for these times. And He has work for us to do. Right now, I ask that you pray for this ministry. Specifically, pray that we find new opportunities to broadcast Truths That Transform to our lost and dying world. I would also ask that you give a generous donation today to help us as we seek to replace the nationwide coverage Lifetime TV provided. Replacing it will be very expensive. There’s one more step you can take, and that is to tell your friends and family about this ministry and how they can watch Truths That Transform to receive a Biblical perspective on the issues of our day.
