CHRISTIANS STORM OUT OF CHURCH OVER TRUMP-INSPIRED MESSAGE
Pastor: 'Go over there and live in these other countries for a little while'
“America: Love it or leave it.”
That’s the message at a Christian church in Appomattox, Virginia, sparking some congregants to take the words literally, storming out of church on Sunday.
Pastor E.W. Lucas posted the sign at Friendship Baptist Church in the wake of President Trump’s dispute last week with some female Democrats in Congress last week, suggesting they go back to “the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” to fix the problems there and then return to show Americans how to do it.
WSET-TV reported that during the Sunday school service, “some members of his church led the congregation out of the service in a stance against him.”
Lucas indicated members were not happy with the national attention the church received.
“I’ve tried to be honest,” Lucas told the station.
“I’ve tried to do what’s right.
But I believe in my country.
I love my country.
And I don’t mind standing up for the country.”
He told the Associated Press that people who want to criticize the president and America should “go over there and live in these other countries for a little while.”Read more at https://www.wnd.com/2019/07/christians-storm-out-of-church-over-trump-inspired-sign/#xko05XKw2Coi0tsG.99
My comments: America was Born out of Patriotism, and a love for God and His Word, and it will Cease to Exist if that Patriotism and love for God and His Word are not Maintained.
