7 CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGERS AT U.S. BORDERS AND PORTS

Exclusive: Chuck Norris offers Part 2 of why it's essential we 'lock our doors'

Last week, I began to explain the seven clear and present dangers that remain at U.S. borders and ports by addressing the issues of identity theft, drug trafficking, gun smuggling and terrorist transport. If you didn’t read it, I highly recommend reading Part 1 first because it sets the context for the remaining points.

Here are the remaining three criminalities at our borders:

5. As reported in August 2018 by U.S. Customs and Protection agency, illegal immigration remains a ginormous problem on our border. Again, consider that on a single typical day over the summer, border patrol accomplish the following:

• Conducted 851 apprehensions between U.S. ports of entry
• Arrested 21 wanted criminals at U.S. ports of entry
• Encountered 592 inadmissible persons at U.S. ports of entry
• Identified 1,607 individuals with suspected national security concerns
• Intercepted 12 fraudulent documents

Those are a sample of border criminalities each and every day!

“In July a total of 31,303 individuals were apprehended between ports of entry on our Southwest border, compared with 34,095 in June and 40,333 in May. 

In Fiscal Year (FY) 2017, USBP apprehended 303,916 individuals along our Southwest Border, compared to 408,870 in FY16, 331,333 in FY15, and 479,371 in FY14.”

“In July, 8,650 people presenting themselves at ports of entry on the Southwest border were deemed inadmissible compared to 8,743 in June, and 11,567 in May. 

In FY 2017 111,275 individuals were deemed inadmissible compared to 150,825 in FY16, 114,486 in FY15 and 90,601 in FY14.”

Human smuggling and trafficking are related crimes that remain porous at our borders. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported:

• “There are at least 12.3 million enslaved adults and children around the world “at any given time.”
• “Of these, at least 1.39 million are victims of commercial sexual servitude, both internationally and within national borders. More than half, 56 percent, of all forced labor victims are women and girls.”

ICE continued “According to the U.S. Department of State, the United States is a destination country for thousands of men, women, and children trafficked from all areas of the world. These victims are trafficked for the purposes of sexual and labor exploitation. Many of these victims are lured from their homes with false promises of well-paying jobs; instead, they are forced or coerced into prostitution, domestic servitude, farm or factory labor or other types of forced labor.”

Do liberal progressives not realize they are enabling and growing the children and women sex trafficking business by advocating open borders?

Case in point: between 2010 and 2012, at least 1,300 people were identified by security officials as being trafficked through San Diego-Mexican border alone. 

Yet liberal California Gov. Jerry Brown has signed repeated laws protecting illegal aliens, despite “In a report released by the Attorney General of the U.S. State of California, researchers stated that organized crime groups were committing money laundering, cyber crimes, human trafficking, and drugs and arms trafficking through the border between San Diego and Mexico.”

6. Organized crime groups and cartels continue to use our entire southern border to infiltrate and criminalize our country, and at the top of the heap is MS-13, the notorious and barbaric gang from Central America which has proliferated just about every major city in the U.S., and also a host of rural communities.

In fact, it was just reported last week that MS-13 took over a small rural farm town in Central California with a population of 11,000 people, and used it as a base for their operations. Mendota and other areas of Fresno County were used to “conduct their crimes, to hide out from crimes that they committed in other jurisdictions and to prepare to commit crimes in states as far away as New York,” Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp said at a news conference in Fresno with state and federal officials.

After uncovering evidence tying the gang to at least 30 murders and assaults in Mendota, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City and Houston, authorities arrested and charged more than two dozen MS-13 gang members and affiliates.

One of the aspects of illegal immigration often overlooked is the effect it has on the 30,000 street gangs, which have up to 1 million members, in the United States. The gang considered the most dangerous is the MS-13, which has ties to the Mexican Mafia. It is estimated at 10,000 members, many of whom are illegals. Seven hundred MS-13 members were arrested by law enforcement in 2005. According to the Washington Times, MS-13 is believed to have a major smuggling operation that transports drugs, firearms and people. What’s even more alarming is that in 2005, the Honduran security minister and the president of El Salvador warned that MS-13 was in talks with al-Qaida to transport terrorists into our country!

Citing FBI and other sources, Wikipedia even explains: “In the U.S., MS-13 has an especially heavy presence in Los Angeles County and the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California; the Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas of Fairfax County, Virginia, Montgomery County, Maryland, and Prince George’s County, Maryland; Queens, New York; Long Island, New York; Newark, New Jersey, Plainfield, New Jersey; Jersey City, New Jersey; Elizabeth, New Jersey; the Boston, Massachusetts area; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Houston, Texas. There is also a presence of MS-13 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.”

As if that’s not enough, American parents and other guardians need to know that MS-13 is coming after our kids and grandkids by recruiting elementary kids using social media.

7. Illegal immigrants are responsible for hundreds of homicides every year across our nation, not to mention a plethora of other crimes, according to the CATO Institute. In 2016 alone, 117,994 illegal immigrants and 43,618 legal immigrants were incarcerated. Read those numbers one more time, please, and slowly.

Interestingly, Texas is the only state in our union that monitors the numbers of murders by illegals. For example, in 2015, illegal immigrants were convicted of 51 homicides, and legal immigrants were convicted of 15 homicides. And that’s only in Texas. Multiply that number for other large states, and even half it for those smaller, and we are still left with a colossal and grave social safety issue that hits even the most remote parts of America, as was just witnessed this last month by the heinous murder of Mollie Tibbets in rural Iowa.

Progressives love to point out how the number of murderers coming from other countries is only a fraction of murderers who are native-born residents, but what type of twisted logic and justification is that for not doing better to stop the killers from other countries? Don’t we want to reduce and eliminate the sources of every form of homicide, inside and infiltrating our country?

You lock your doors at home, right? You don’t leave them wide open day and night, right? And many of you join my wife, Gena, and I in believing in our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, and are ready to protect your families from invaders, right? Some even build walls and install other security devices to protect their homes and loved ones. Those safety measures are all good and right. We are not paranoid or bigots and haters of those outside for ensuring them. We are protecting our homes because we love the people and things on the inside.

So why can’t we feel and do the same for our country, since it is our home? We need to. Safety measures are the only way to protect invaders from infiltrating in the midst of all the wonderful and law-abiding immigrants. Unfortunately, right now, too many American leaders are advocating for simply leaving the border doors wide open day and night. They advocate never locking the doors and never protecting the borders. And we’re paying a heavy price for that type of thinking and action.

We can all agree that there’s many more good, decent, and well-intentioned immigrants entering our country than not. But how can we justify allowing 1000 of those well-intentioned if it means one illegal alien like Christian Rivera, who slaughtered Molly Tibbets and terrorized other women in their small rural Iowan town, crosses our border without being vetted?

It only takes one foreign killer to alter your life and family forever if they come after your loved one, as testified by Michelle Root, whose 21-year old daughter, Sarah, was killed by a drunk illegal immigrant who disappeared after his brother paid $5,000 of his $50,000 bond. Michelle said, “No family should have to go through this.” Don’t you agree?

Every time an illegal immigrant commits another homicide, all the Angel Families relive their worst nightmares. America needs “Sarah’s Law” and “Kate’s Law“!

Actually, it’s not even my policy and protocol but one from the late 19th and early 20th century that worked to legally welcome and process in 12 million immigrants who built our nation into what it is today.)
