James Mattis Put North Korea On Notice With These Eight Words
Barack Obama and his weak foreign policy are gone.
In 2016, America voted to put an end to North Korea and Iran threatening America with their rogue nuclear weapons programs.
And Defense Secretary James Mattis just said the eight words that put Kim Jong Un – and the rest of America’s enemies – on notice.
Mattis testified in front of the House Armed Services Committee and declared that it was a new day.
He declared “If you threaten us, it will be your longest and worst day.”

“OUR FIRST LINE OF EFFORT EMPHASIZES THAT EVERYTHING WE DO MUST CONTRIBUTE TO THE LETHALITY OF OUR MILITARY,” SECRETARY MATTIS STATED. “IN WAR, AN ENEMY WILL ATTACK A PERCEIVED WEAKNESS. THEREFORE, WE CANNOT ADOPT A SINGLE PRE SET OF WARFARE. IF DETERRENCE FAILS, WE MUST WIN.”“TO DEFEND OUR WAY OF LIFE, OUR MILITARY WILL EMBRACE CHANGE WHILE HOLDING FAST TO TRADITIONAL PROVEN ATTRIBUTES THAT MAKE US THE MOST FORMIDABLE FORCE ON ANY BATTLEFIELD. THOSE WHO WOULD THREATEN AMERICA’S EXPERIMENT IN DEMOCRACY MUST KNOW IF YOU THREATEN US, IT WILL BE YOUR LONGEST AND WORST DAY.”“WE WILL PRIORITIZE REBUILDING READINESS WHILE MODERNIZING OUR EXISTING FORCE,” HE CONTINUED. “WE WILL ALSO BE CHANGING OUR FORCE’S POSTURE TO PRIORITIZE READINESS FOR WAR FIGHTING AND MAJOR COMBAT, MAKING US STRATEGIC PREDICTABLE FOR OUR ALLIES AND OPERATIONALLY UNPREDICTABLE FOR ANY ADVERSARY.”

Mattis’ assurances come at a crucial time.
Because previous administration’s allowed North Korea’s nuclear weapons program to march on unchecked, the world is now at the edge of an unthinkable war.
But the Trump administration’s aggressive posture has paid dividends.
The administration won tough new sanctions that have pushed North Korea to the edge of financial ruin.
Pyongyang even dialed back their winter military exercises because of the strain the sanctions have placed on their economy.
Mattis’ testimony to Congress was a clear warning that the United States means business.
The sanctions are designed to force North Korea to the bargaining table.
But if Kim Jong Un forgoes that option for a more aggressive response, it will be the worst mistake of his life.
