Faith Says What God Says

“You shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you . . .” (Job 22: 28)

People criticize the faith-talk teachers. The name-it-and-claim-it group can certainly stretch the concept of speaking faith. However, every biblical hero spoke faith words and declared the end of the matter, like God does, before it became a reality in the natural world. 

The Bible is filled with examples of faith-talking people. They set a spiritual law in motion by their words.

God declares the end from the beginning (Isa. 46:10; Rom. 4:17). 

His children ought to be imitating Him. 

Consider the words of Abraham. He called himself father of nations for years without having even one child. Jonah declared God had brought him out of the whale’s belly before it actually happened; the Shunamite woman kept repeating “All is well” before her son was raised from the dead; 

King David many times called his enemies defeated before he went into battle. He carried no sword when he killed Goliath, but he spoke with the sword of the spirit. And these are just a few. There are also those in the Bible who got what they said in doubt (negative words) as well. See Numbers 14: 28. 

When you speak, not just your own words, but words in agreement with the Word of God, you will have whatever you say according to Mark 11: 23. 

“Let the weak say I am strong.” That is a spiritual law. Words are seeds and seeds produce like things.

Father, You said to put You in remembrance of your word. You said Jesus came that I might have life and that more abundantly. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I have victory over the mountain. Amen.
