WHEN THE WORSHIP OF GOD IS ABOLISHED

The Daily Sacrifice Is Abolished

(Daniel 11:30-35)

[Daniel 11:30-35 Seems To Describe

The Events Related To Antiochus Epiphanes,

An Archtype Of The Antichrist,

However, They Are Also A Description Of End Time Events

Related To The Antichrist, The Beast.]

30 Then he (the Antichrist) will turn back

And vent his fury against the holy covenant.

[When the Dragon cannot kill the “Woman” of Revelation 12,

He turns to make war against the rest of he off-spring—'

Those who obey God 's commandments

And hold to the testimony of Jesus.']

He will return and show favor to those who Forsake the Holy Covenant.

[The dragon, through his emissary the Beast, shows favor to those

Who claim the name of Christ but are Apostates,

And have rebelled against Christ Jesus.]

31 His armed forces will rise up

To desecrate the temple fortress

AND ABOLISH THE DAILY SACRIFICE.

THEN THEY WILL SET UP THE ABOMINATION

THAT CAUSES DESOLATION.

32 With flattery he will corrupt those

WHO HAVE VIOLATED THE COVENANT,

But the people who know their God will firmly resist him.

[The Beast by force of arms,

Will forbid the people of God to worship God

And will set up the “Image” of the Beast in the Church of God

And require worship of the “Image.”

Those who claim the name of Christ Jesus,

Who are Apostates and have Rebelled against Christ Jesus

Will be flattered and corrupted by the Beast,

But those who “know” their God

Will firmly resist the Beast.]

33 'Those who are wise will instruct many,

Though for a time they will fall by the sword

Or be burned or captured or plundered.

When they fall, they will receive little help,

And many who are insincere will join them.

Some of the wise will stumble,

So that they may be refined, purified and made spotless

Until the time of the end,

For it will still come at the appointed time.'

(Daniel 11:30-35)

[This speaks of the time of The Great Tribulation,

Where the Beast requires worship of his “Image.”

Those who name the name of Christ, who are wise,

Who know and believe the Word of God will instruct many.

For Three and One-half years they will be killed.

They will receive little help.

Many who are insincere will pretend to join them

To try to get them to worship the Beast and live.

Some of the wise will stumble

Or loose their bearing temporarily;

Through this, God refines and purifies them

And makes them spotless.]
