All or Nothing Faith
Cheryl Weber
Sometimes it can be difficult to trust all our concerns, every part of our lives, to a God we cannot see, hear or touch with our physical senses.
But that is exactly what he wants from us because what is impossible with man is possible with God. His power, wisdom, and love infinitely outweigh any challenge and need we might face. Many verses in the Bible speak of how the author trusts God completely or urges the reader to trust God for everything.
The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart.” Psalms 28:7a NLT
“O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.” Psalms 62:8 NLT
“Don’t worry about anything but pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT
“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” 1 Peter 5:7 (Classic Amplified Bible)
God gave us his all, loved us enough to save us for eternity by sending his only son, Jesus, to die on a cross so we could find forgiveness and eternal life.
He is the great and mighty God of the universe. If such a God is not capable of taking care of every situation we face, even those situations that don’t always turn out as we wish, then who can we trust? Only man who is frail, fallible, and limited.
Either we trust God for all, or we don’t trust him at all. He deserves and delights in our ruthless trust.
Lord God, you all almighty. I give you control over every area of my life and trust you to care for me in every situation. Thank you that you are more than able to see me through. AMEN
