ISLAM’s FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR: “Eid al-Adha”- the holiday of animal genocide (Videos)
September 1st marked the first day of Eid al-Adha 2017, after the new moon crescent was sighted on August 22nd. During Eid, millions of Muslims come out to watch animals being sacrificed in the streets, in the slowest, most frightening and painful way possible.
Eid al-Adha celebrations begin two days after the start of Hajj – the important annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, the holy city in Saudi Arabia, where more than two million pilgrims go to Saudi Arabia and spend the day walking around a big black cube called the Kaaba as part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
In the Islamic lunar calendar, Eid al-Adha takes place on the 10th day of the 12th month and lasts for four days until the 13th day. This year it will start on Friday, September 1 and will end in the evening of Tuesday, September 5.
But the real ‘fun’ get doing when crowds gather to watch the smiting of necks (but not deep enough to sever the spinal cord which would numb the pain) which results in the the slow, agonizing death of the animals. And if you think halal slaughter is “just like kosher slaughter, “ look at THIS
Think of Eid as the time when Muslims practice on animals what many of them go on to do to humans.
