Abortion is America's great sin
By Judie Brown
Any nation that routinely slaughters its weakest members is a nation in dire trouble.
A couple of years ago Hollywood actor Jim Caviezel told a Rock Church audience in San Diego that abortion is America's great sin. Speaking to his audience, he challenged them as individuals, saying that "many people are a part of this great sin in this country." His message on that day was that God is all loving. He told them, "You have to take Jesus Christ into your life every day."
When Live Action News repeated this story a couple of days ago, it struck me that it was no accident that we are reminded of Caviezel's words of hope in the same week that Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards has unabashedly proclaimed that she and her organization are all-in during this election year to make certain that every abortion that anyone ever thought of acquiring is available at taxpayer expense.
When the Supreme Court handed down the Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt decision striking down anti-abortion provisions in the Texas law earlier this year, Richards' program for the future of the abortion industry took on a whole new look. As she said in her comments celebrating the decision, "This is a win for women." Assuring Planned Parenthood followers that they would "fight like hell" for the right of every woman to have an abortion, she is echoing the sentiments that have permeated the actual war-on-women cartel for a very long time.
But there is much that we can and must do to unravel the twisted agenda that creates this kind of devotion to the act of killing an innocent child before birth. Richards has labelled the act a humanizing event for the expectant mother whose baby is about to die. She says, "'This is the most personal decision that many people will make in their lifetime,' and the thought that anyone other than that person would make that decision, and that you would put that in the hands of government, is just unthinkable."
But what is truly unthinkable is the result of the act that is the death of an innocent person who has no say in the matter at all because every human right has been denied that preborn child.
As Father John Hollowell of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, Indiana, said in a video message for Cecile Richards that appears on the website Roman Catholic Man: "We have no doubt that in 20 or 50 or 100 years, other societies and other civilizations will look back and will lump your organization in with the slave traders, the Nazis, the communists, all those groups that have always sought to oppress people."
This brave priest challenged Richards, saying:
This sin will not be eradicated with an election, but it will be with confidence and a desire to be the hands and the feet of Christ.
We know that the antidote to abortion is to be truth-tellers with love in our hearts and education on our minds. We have the tools to teach truth. All we have to do is use them in a way that assures that aborting children is no longer America's great sin.

This brave priest challenged Richards, saying:
- You better knock us out now. You and the president, in seeking to silence the Church, seeking to silence those who also believe that they have a say – you and the president better knock us out right now. Because Cecile, I can promise you, here comes the Catholic Church.
Our seminaries and our convents are bursting at the seams, at least those convents that have not bought in to your agenda of the culture of death and the lies that you seek to spread.
This sin will not be eradicated with an election, but it will be with confidence and a desire to be the hands and the feet of Christ.

My comments: As long as Abortion continues in America--America Has No Future! The Blood of each of the 57 Million babies cries out to God Almighty Day and Night.
