THE PRESENCE OF GOD

The Presence of God is the most valuable reality that exists.

Without it, we are no different from any other people on Earth.

'It is Christ In us the Hope of Glory.' (Colossians 1:27)

The Presence of Christ in us,

And Manifesting Himself In and Through us,

That Differentiates us from any other people.

Moses said to the Lord,

'You have been telling me, 'Lead these people,'

But you have not let me know whom you will send with me.

You have said, 'I know you by name

And you have found Favor with me.'

If I have found Favor in Your eyes,

Teach me your Ways so I may Know You

And continue to find Favor with You.

Remember this Nation is Your People.

The Lord replied,

'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you Rest.'

Then Moses said to Him,

'If Your Presence does not go with us,

Do not send us up form here.

How will Anyone know that You are pleased with me and with Your People

Unless You go with us?

What else will Distinguish me and Your People

From All the Other people on the Face of the Earth?'

And the Lord said to Moses,

'I will do the very thing you have asked,

Because I AM Pleased with you and I know you by name.'

The Moses said,

'NOW SHOW ME YOUR GLORY.'

And the Lord said,

'I WILL CAUSE ALL OF MY GOODNESS TO PASS IN FRONT OF YOU,

And I will Proclaim My Name, the Lord, in your presence.

I WILL HAVE MERCY ON WHOM I WILL HAVE MERCY,

And I will have Compassion on whom I will have Compassion.

But,' HE said, 'YOU CANNOT SEE MY FACE,

FOR NO ONE CAN SEE ME AND LIVE.'

Then the Lord said,

'There is a place near Me where you may stand on a rock.

WHEN MY GLORY PASSES BY,

I will put you in a cleft in the rock

And cover you with My Hand until I have passed by.

Then I will remove My Hand and you will see My Back;

BUT MY FACE MUST NOT BE SEEN.'

(Exodus 33:12-23)

King David said this about the Presence of the Lord:

You have made known to me the Path of LIFE;

You will Fill me with Joy in Your Presence,

With Eternal Pleasures at Your Right Hand.

(Psalm 16:11)

How Great is Your Goodness,

Which You have stored up for those who Fear You,

Which you Bestow in the sight of men

On those who take Refuge in You.

IN THE SHELTER OF YOUR PRESENCE YOU HIDE THEM

From the Intrigues of men;

In Your Dwelling You keep them Safe

From the Strife of Tongues.

(Psalm 31:19,20)

Create in me a Pure heart, O God,

And Renew a Steadfast spirit within me.

Do not Cast me from Your Presence

Or take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the Joy of Your Salvation

And Grant me a willing spirit to Sustain me.

(Psalm 51:10-12)

The Lord intended that we live in Continual Revival;

Continually Manifesting His Presence, In and Through us;

That was the Purpose of Pentecost.

Christ Jesus Manifested the Presence and Glory of God the Father,

And He said of us,

As the Father has sent Me, so I send you.

(John 17:18)
