I HAVE STRENGTH FOR ALL THINGS

I have Strength for All Things IN CHRIST Who Empowers me--

I am Ready for Anything and Equal to Anything

Through Him Who Infuses Inner Strength into me,

[That is, I am self-sufficient In Christ's Sufficiency].

(Philippians 4:13, AMP)

And to keep me from being puffed up and too much elated

By the exceeding greatness (per-eminence) of these revelations,

There was given to me a Thorn (a splinter) in the flesh,

A messenger of Satan, to rack and buffet and harass me,

To keep me from being excessively exalted. [Job 2:6.]

Three time I called upon the Lord and besought [Him] about this

And begged that it might depart from me;

But He said to me, My Grace—My Favor and loving-kindness and mercy--

Are enough for you,

[That is, Sufficient against any danger

And to enable you to bear the trouble manfully];

For My Strength and Power are made Perfect--

Fulfilled and Completed and show themselves most effectively--

In [your] Weakness.

Therefore, I will all the more gladly Glory in my Weaknesses and Infirmities,

That the Strength and Power of Christ, the Messiah, may Rest

Yes, may pitch a tent [over] and Dwell—upon me!

So for the Sake of Christ, I am well pleased

And take pleasure in Infirmities, Insults, Hardships, Persecutions,

Perplexities and Distresses;

For when I am Weak (in human strength),

Then am I [truly] Strong—Able, Powerful in Divine Strength.

(2 Corinthians 12:7-10, AMP)

May He Grant you out of the Rich Treasury of His Glory

To be Strengthened and Reinforced

With Mighty Power in the Inner man by the Holy Spirit [Himself]--

In dwelling your Innermost Being and Personality.

(Ephesians 3:16, AMP)

[We pray] that you may be Invigorated and Strengthened with All Power,

According to the Might of His Glory,

[To exercise] every kind of Endurance and Patience

(Perseverance and Forbearance) with Joy.

Giving thanks to the Father,

Who has Qualified and made us Fit to Share the Portion

Which is the Inheritance of the Saints (God's Holy people)

IN THE LIGHT.

[The Father] has Delivered and Drawn us to Himself

Out of the Control and the Dominion of Darkness (Satan's kingdom)

And has Transferred us into the Kingdom of the Son of His Love.

(Colossians 1:11-13

I give thanks to Him Who has granted me (the needed) Strength

And Made me Able [for this], Christ Jesus our Lord,

Because He has Judged and Counted me Faithful and Trustworthy,

Appointing me to [this Stewardship of] the Ministry.

(Timothy 1:12, AMP)

In our humanness, we have No Spiritual Strength;

Nothing with which to combat the Rulers, the Authorities,

The Powers of this Dark World;

The Spiritual Forces of Evil in the heavenly realms.

Our Fallen, Sinful Nature precludes this.

The only Strength that we have

Comes from Christ Jesus, by His Spirit.

Only Christ In Us can combat Satan and his Demonic Horde.

So that in our Inherent Weakness, we are made Strong Through Christ,

Living IN and THROUGH us.

It is Christ IN us our Hope of Glory or Heaven. (Colossians 1:27)

No matter how physically weak we may be,

We can be Strong IN CHRIST.

I have Strength for All Things IN CHRIST Who Empowers me.
