10 STATES SUE FEDS OVER TRANSGENDER-BATHROOM RULES
Accuse D.C. of circumventing established law, process for changing existing laws
(Associated Press) Ten states are suing the federal government over rules requiring public schools to allow transgender students to use restrooms and locker rooms conforming to their gender identity.
The lawsuit was filed Friday in federal court in Nebraska. The other states involved are Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
