Here
we are in 2016, a year closer to the second coming of our Lord Jesus
Christ.
He
said: Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me,
And
I will give to everyone according to what he has done. (Rev. 22:12)
We
are in the same situation as the people were before the flood of
Noah's day.
They
had no idea what was about to happen.
What
A Person Of Noah's Day Might Have Recorded:
That
crazy Noah spent his life building this wooden Ark;
A
huge thing that now stands in our midst.
You
can see it from all over the land.
This
man preaches righteousness, what is righteous?
Who
is he to tell us what is righteous, although he seems to live a good
life.
He
is helpful and kind to all even though there is violence
And
wickedness going on all around him.
Over
the past few months he has filled the ark with all kinds of food and
water;
That
was a big job.
Over
the last few weeks a pair of animals of each specie
Have
been marched into the Ark;
It
was amazing that he could get them to do that
And
stay in there without killing each other or him!
Yesterday,
Noah and his family had entered into the Ark
And
the door to the Ark was shut.
They
have now been in there for seven days, what foolishness!
Strangely,
today we have moisture coming out of the sky,
We've
never seen that before.
Now
it has “rained” for several weeks and everything is wet
We
are wadding in water
Now
the water is up to our waist; now we are swimming in it
I
am so tired that I can swim no longer.
I
expired and was ushered into hell. What an awful place.
There
is no water at all here!
Jesus
Compared The Days Of Noah To The Time Of The END
Jesus
compared the days of Noah to the “Season” preceding The Great
Tribulation.
Noah
preached to his generation for a long time prior to the flood,
Just
as the Church of God has preached to every generation
Since
the ascension of Christ Jesus.
By
the time of Noah, Satan had deceived the whole world of that time.
The
wickedness of man had reached the point of no return.
Mankind
had become so wicked that it was irreversible;
They
were “trapped” in their sin.
This
is what happens at The Time of the END.
This
is a testament to the effectiveness of Satan's deception.
God
Made A Covenant With Noah
Noah
was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time,
And
he walked with God. (Genesis 6:9)
God
made a covenant with Noah;
God
promised to save Noah and his family through the Ark.
Today,
God has made a covenant with His people,
He
has placed His laws in their minds and written them upon their hearts
(Jeremiah
31);
He
has promised Eternal LIFE to those who “know” Him.
In
God's New Covenant, those who receive His Christ,
Are
washed in the blood of Christ, and their sins are forgiven.
God
Instructed Noah How To Build The Ark Of Salvation
God
gave Noah very specific instructions as to how to build the ark of
salvation.
Today,
we have the teachings of Christ Jesus, His apostles and all of
Scripture.
Our
Salvation is found in following those teachings
By
the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
Noah
Knew That The World Of His Day Would Be Destroyed
God
told Noah that He was going to bring a flood
That
would destroy the World of Noah's day.
Today,
God has told us that this World we are living in will be destroyed.
In
Holy Fear Noah Built The Ark
By
Faith Noah, when warned about things not seen,
In
Holy Fear built an Ark to save his family.
By
his faith he condemned the world
And
became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
Today, by faith we must
build a relationship with Christ Jesus
Sufficient to save us
from The Great Tribulation at hand.
God
Gave The World Of Noah's Day Many Years To Turn To Him
It
took Noah many years to build the Ark as his neighbors watched on.
The
construction of the Ark was in itself “preaching” to those who
watched.
God
has given the World of our day two thousand years to turn to Him;
For
two thousand years Christians have preached to this World in word and
deed.
The
Season Before The Flood
Finally
the Ark was finished.
The
completion of the Ark is similar to the “Season” before The Great
Tribulation.
It
would have taken Noah sometime to collect and march
The
great contingent of animals and supplies into the Ark.
This
time would be similar to the ministry of The Bride of Christ
For
the three and one-half years preceding The Great Tribulation.
The
Bride of Christ will invite whosoever will to the Christ of God.
Then
will come the Inescapable Tribulation.
The
door to Salvation, except to die for Christ, will be shut,
Just
as surely as God shut the door behind Noah and his family.
When
God shut the door to the Ark,
To
those outside, it was like any other day.
For
seven days the door of the Ark was shut
With
Noah and his family and all of the animals inside.
Imagine
the mocking of those outside.
However,
on the seventh day it began to rain and did not stop.
The
rains continued for forty days,
Until
every living thing outside the Ark was killed.
It
will be like this once The Great Tribulation begins, there will be no
escape.
The
Bride of Christ will be taken into the desert to a place prepared by
God.
The
people of the World will wonder for a time where they have gone.
Shortly
thereafter it will become clear to them that The Great Tribulation
has begun.
The
difference with this time and Noah's time
Is
that every living person that finds themselves in The Great
Tribulation
Will
be given the opportunity to die for Christ and live eternally;
They
will be given the opportunity to refuse the “mark” of the Beast
and be killed,
But
live eternally in the presence of Christ Jesus.
The
Wickedness of Man In Noah's Day
The
Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become,
And
that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart
Was
only evil all the time.
The
Lord was grieved that he had made man on the earth,
And
his heart was filled with pain.
So
the Lord said,
'I
will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—
Men
and animals and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of
the air--
For I am grieved that I have made them.'
For I am grieved that I have made them.'
But
Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. (Genesis 6:5-8)
Now
the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence.
God
saw how corrupt the earth had become,
For
all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.
So
God said to Noah,
'I
am going to put an end to all people,
For
the earth is filled with violence because of them.
I
am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.' (Genesis
6:11-13)
The
Time Of The END Will Be As The Days Of Noah
Jesus
said:
No
one knows about that day or hour,
Not
even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
As
it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of
Man.
For
in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking,
Marrying
and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
And
they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came
And
took them all away. (Matthew 24:36-39)
Likewise The Great
Tribulation will come
And “trap”
virtually all of mankind into its terror and darkness.
Christ
Died Once For All
For Christ died for
sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous,
To bring you to God.
He was put to death
in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
Through whom also he
went and preached to the spirits in prison
Who
disobeyed long ago when God waited patiently in the days of
Noah
While
the ark was being built.
In it only a few
people, eight in all, were saved through water,
And this water
symbolizes baptism that now saves you also--
Not the removal of
dirt from the body
But the pledge of a
good conscience toward God.
It saves you by the
Resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at
God's right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission
to him.
(Hebrews 3:18-22)
God waited patiently in
the days of Noah.
During this time anyone
could have turned to Him and saved themselves,
But in the end only
eight had Faith and were saved out of the Whole World.
The eight were save
through water;
And we are saved
through water baptism,
Our pledge of good
conscience toward God.
God
Did Not Spare The Ancient World
For if God did not
spare angels when they sinned,
But sent them into
gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
If
he did not spare the ancient world
When
he brought the flood on its ungodly people,
But
protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;
If he condemned the
cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes,
And made them an
example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
And if he rescued
Lot, a righteous man,
Who was distressed
by the filthy lives of lawless men
(For that righteous
man, living among them day after day,
Was tormented in his
righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
If this is so, then
the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials
And to hold the
unrighteous for the day of judgment,
While continuing
their punishment.
Likewise God has
promised to save the Godly from The Great Tribulation
In The Time Of The END.
'Since you have kept
My Command to Endure Patiently,
I will also keep you
from the Hour of Trial
That is going to
come upon the Whole World
to Test those who
live on the Earth.'
(Revelation 3:10)
