DID GOD REALLY SAY?

Now the Serpent was more Crafty

Than any of the wild animals the Lord had made.

He said to the Woman,

'DID GOD REALLY SAY,

'You must not eat from the Tree in the Garden?'

The Woman said to the Serpent,

'We may eat Fruit from the Trees in the Garden,

But God did say,

'You Must Not eat Fruit from the Tree

That is in the Middle of the Garden,

And you must not Touch it, or you will Die.'

'YOU WILL SURELY NOT DIE,'

The Serpent said to the Woman.

'For God knows that when you eat of it

Your eyes will be Opened,

And you will be Like God, Knowing Good and Evil.'

When the Woman saw

That the Fruit of the Tree was good for food

And pleasing to the eye,

And also Desirable for Gaining Wisdom,

SHE TOOK SOME AND ATE IT.

She also gave some to her husband,

Who was with her, AND HE ATE IT.

THEN THE EYES OF BOTH OF THEM WERE OPENED [to Sin],

And they Realized they were Naked;

SO THEY SEWED FIG LEAVES TOGETHER

And made coverings for themselves.

(Genesis 3:1-7)

The Question that has Plagued mankind

From the time of Adam and Eve

Is the Same One that Plagued them:

“DID GOD REALLY SAY!”

And the answer is that God Really Said what His Word Declares.

Listen to the writer of the Hebrews:

We must Pay more Careful Attention,

Therefore to what we have heard,

SO THAT WE DO NOT DRIFT AWAY.

For it the Message spoken by angels was binding,

And every Violation and Disobedience received its just Punishment,

HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE IGNORE SUCH A GREAT SALVATION?

This Salvation, which was First Announced by the Lord,

Was Confirmed to us by those who heard Him.

GOD TESTIFIES TO IT BY SIGNS, WONDERS AND VARIOUS MIRACLES,

And Gifts of the Holy Spirit Distributed According to His Will.

(Hebrews 2:1-4)

Today, the Serpent is Lying to and Deceiving All Mankind,

Just as he Lied to and Deceived Adam and Eve.

Mankind has Rejected the Word of God

In Pursuit of their own Wisdom

That is Inherently Faulty, and leads to Eternal Death.

Mankind has Eaten the Fruit

Of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil;

A Reality that they cannot Live with, as God Warned;

AND THEY ARE NAKED BEFORE THE LIVING GOD.

Unless they Clothe themselves with Christ [Romans 13:14],

They will Die an Eternal Death.

Ironically as the eyes of Adam and Eve were opened,

THEY WERE CLOSED to the wonder of Perfection!

They gave up Perfection for eyes opened to Evil.

Only through Faith in Christ Jesus do we get a Glimpse of Perfection;

The Perfection God offers to All who Believe and Obey Him;

Yes, even Eternal Life in Paradise.

Mankind has Sewn together the Fig Leaves of man's wisdom;

An Inherently Faulty Wisdom, that leads to Eternal Death.

Is this because they do not know the Truth?

No, they do know the Truth!

God Almighty has made it Plain to every person:

For since the Creation of the World

God's Invisible Qualities--His Eternal Power and Divine Nature--

HAVE BEEN CLEARLY SEEN,

Being Understood from what has been made,

SO THAT MEN ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.

(Romans 1:20)

YES, GOD REALLY DID SAY!

And those who Ignore Him will Surely Die!

Christ Jesus warned us:

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man. (Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is raging against God, rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's present form is passing away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being ground to powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)

Father, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as in Heaven!
