In reference to the death of pop-musician David Bowie this week -- who had once said he did not know where he was going after death but it would not be “boring” -- Rev. Franklin Graham asserted that he knew his own final destination and that there are only two for every soul: ‘Heaven or Hell.’
“Before he died this week, rock star David Bowie said, ‘I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise you it won't be boring,’” noted Rev. Graham in a Jan. 14 post on Facebook.
“I'm thankful that I know where I'm going when my life on earth ends,” he said. “I'm going into the presence of Almighty God, because when I was 22 years old I asked God to forgive my sins to save me through faith in His Son Jesus Christ.”
“He [God] will do the same for anyone who comes to Him in repentance and faith,” said the reverend.
“There are only two destinations for our soul for eternity -- either Heaven or Hell,” said Rev. Graham. “I urge you to make sure you know where you're going today.”
David Bowie (1947 – 2016), died of cancer on Jan. 10. He was 69 years old. He was married and has two children, one from an earlier marriage.
