Outrage called 'Islamophobia,' students now want Islam-friendly plumbing

A “predominantly Judeo-Christian environment” on Wichita State University’s campus was deemed not inclusive enough for Muslim students last May. The solution: Rip up an alter and pews and make space for prayer rugs.

Donor Harvey D. Grace stipulated to the Wichita, Kansas, school its Grace Chapel must be open to all faiths. Although the building was open to all faiths, that wasn’t good enough for the student government association.

“Why did they have to take out all the pews,” alum Jean Ann Cusick wrote on Facebook, Fox News reported Thursday.

“I would also like to know where the cross has gone. This wreaks of political correctness,” added Robie Taylor.

“The Evidence Bible” is now available and includes, besides the King James version, dozens of articles expanding answers to questions such as why is there suffering, explanations about what Muslims believe and scientific facts written millennia before man discovered them.

WSU President John Bardo said in a statement on the school’s Facebook page Tuesday, “Our goal should be exactly what Mrs. Grace set out to do in her gift, to have an all faiths chapel that is welcoming to all religious groups on campus.”

Roughly 2,000 square feet was renovated at the “predominantly Judeo-Christian” chapel to recognize “the importance of inclusion,” as stated in a resolution passed by the school’s Student Senate earlier this year.

Muslims students have now submitted a petition calling for the university to install Islamic-friendly plumbing such as handheld bidets around campus, Fox reported.

Student body president Joseph Shepard said critics of the school’s decision suffer from “Islamophobia,” the Wichita Eagle reported Tuesday.

WSU has a student population of 15,000 students. Approximately 1,000 identify as Muslim.

My comments: This action by WSU is INSANE! Islam is an Evil religion based on the Koran that Incites Violence agaisnt Everyone, including its own. Those who welcome and accommodate this Evil Religion participate in its Evil Work. (2 John 10, 11)
