According to a shocking document released by the Center for Immigration Studies on Monday, almost one million illegal aliens have received work permits under the Obama administration.

The report said that 957,220 aliens who entered the United States illegally were granted work permits during the period from 2009 to 2014. This is in addition to 5.5 million people who received green cards in spite of the fact they shouldn’t have.

Among thesem “1,200 new work permits were issued to aliens who were denied asylum, were suspected of using fraudulent documents, were stowaways, or were refused at a port of entry,” wrote Center for Immigration Studies director Jessica Vaughn.

Almost half a million — 470,000 — were immigrants with tourist visas and 532,000 foreign students were among the 5.5 million visa seekers.

Two thirds of these were under visa categories that did not allow the holder to work in the United States.

Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., demanded an immediate investigation, according to the Daily Mail.

“This massive increase in the labor supply has occurred simultaneously with a steep drop in family incomes and a sharp rise in the number of Americans pushed out of the workforce,” Sessions said. 

“All jobs gains since the recession have gone to foreign workers, while the slack labor market has depressed median family incomes almost $5,000 in that time,” he added.

While Sessions said that a bill was on the Senate floor that “fully funds every lawful activity of DHS, what it does not fund is outlaw behavior.”

Vaughn, meanwhile, said that the documents obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies, “indicate that the executive branch is operating a huge parallel immigrant work authorization system outside the bounds of the laws and limits written by Congress.”

What does this mean for America? Well, for one, it means that Obama, via “prosecutorial discretion,” was engaging in criminal amnesty long before he had publicly taken executive action on the matter in November.

Let’s hope that the U.S. Supreme Court finds against Obama’s illegal executive actions on immigration and puts an end to this charade as quickly as possible.
