Muslim Mother’s Children Accidentally See Her Sin… So She Brutally Silenced Them
Wednesday, February 4th, 2015
A 31-year-old Egyptian Muslim mother persuaded her lover to slit the throats of her two small children after they caught her in an adulterous act and threatened to tell her relatives about it.
The mother, a newspaper worker identified only as Najat, reportedly confessed to authorities after the brutal slaying of her five-year-old son, Mohammad, and seven-year old daughter, whose name was not provided
The son apparently caught his mother with another man in their Cairo apartment and said that he would tell his father and uncle what he had seen.
Adultery, of course, is punishable by stoning under Islamic Shariah law, which undoubtedly gave the mother her motivation to commit a heinous crime against her own children.
To save her own skin, Najat told her lover to “silence” her children. So the man slit the boy’s throat first, and then the girl’s.
“She said that when her daughter woke up and saw what happened, she asked her lover to silence her,” a local newspaper reported, according to Mad World News.
Without in any way excusing her barbaric actions, it should be pointed out that women living in Muslim countries face enormous pressure to comply with Shariah law or face the consequences, which are often deadly.
This is, of course, no excuse for her adultery — this woman obviously brought her problems on herself by means of her irresponsible moral choices.
And that being the case, she should have been the one to suffer the consequences of her actions, even if those consequences were themselves unjust, as Shariah law often is. Her lover, of course, should also have been made to suffer an appropriate punishment.
Instead, we hope she will now suffer an even more disastrous fate, after being convicted of her complicity in the murder of two children whose only crime was to have witnessed their mother’s moral failings.
