In 1948, the U.S. ratified a treaty that created the WHO, and the U.N. agency’s constitution went into effect. In the first two decades, the WHO adopted the International Classification of Disease (ICD), then focused on mass campaigns against tuberculosis, malaria, yaws, syphilis, smallpox, and leprosy. The ICD codes are now universally used by health care providers.
In 1969, the WHO expanded its efforts, releasing the International Health Regulations (IHR). These regulations were revised in 2005, making the IHR “a binding international legal agreement involving 196 countries across the globe, including all the Member States of the WHO. Their aim was to help the international community prevent and respond to acute public health risks that have the potential to cross borders and threaten people worldwide.”
Because the revised IHR included language making it legally binding under international law, the 2005 document was a treaty that should have received a 2/3 majority approval by the U.S. Senate.
However, President George W. Bush signed America onto the new IHR amendments by declaring the document to be an “agreement.”
Don’t let Joe Biden pull the same trick!
Joe Biden is now trying to pull the same trick on America by signing us on to yet another new WHO agreement, which the WHO itself declares to be a “treaty,” and the provisions of which will be legally binding on the United States under international law.
The WHO’s World Health Assembly will vote on the WHO’s Pandemic Treaty and a new IHR agreement at the end of May in Geneva, Switzerland.
If Joe Biden signs that agreement, ALL future WHO directives will become legally binding. The WHO will be given the authority to override our Congress, governors, mayors and even sheriffs on issues ranging as far as “climate change,” crime, LGBTQ and abortion, immigration, imports and exports, health care, vaccines, and even our ability to travel or work.
In addition, the WHO Director-General would also have control over our medical supply lines as well, able to reallocate resources as he sees fit. The WHO would also have the authority to force medical examinations, vaccine passports, quarantines, and even the types of treatment for whatever issue the WHO deems as a threat. The WHO even specifies that it can exert its will even if a scenario presents a mere “potential to impact public health.”
And as if to put the icing on the cake, the WHO would also have the ability to censor information it doesn’t like.
Don’t let the WHO rule over YOU. Demand Congress VOTE YES on HR 1425 and S 444! |
