In June 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court voted 5-4 to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade and 1992 Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey abortion decisions, shifting the battle for life back to the people.
The High Court cited Liberty Counsel’s amicus brief, which exposed the racist, eugenic, “ethnic cleansing” behind the abortion movement, and how those evil forces continue to work even in today’s modern world.
Although a landmark win for life, the pro-abortion movement’s response was to launch a well-funded and very deceptive effort to target states and enshrine abortion in state constitutions.
Run for life. . .
By amending state constitutions to enshrine the “right” to kill children, these state abortion amendments would override pro-life laws that are on the books, rendering them unenforceable.
Many of these amendments would lead to taxpayer-funded abortions.
Sadly, since the Dobbs decision in 2022, the pro-life movement is 0-for-7 in abortion-related referendums nationwide, with losses on abortion and/or pro-life ballot initiatives in California, Michigan, Vermont, Kentucky, Montana, Kansas, and most recently, Ohio. California, Michigan, Ohio, and Vermont voted to enshrine abortion in their state constitutions.
Cases such as in California where abortion up to delivery and infanticide (murder of the baby after birth) are allowed under the guise of “reproductive healthcare” or “reproductive freedom” will likely become much more prevalent if the pro-abortion initiatives are successful.
These amendments are deceptively worded, and voters often do not understand how broadly these initiatives reach. Not only will many of these amendments allow abortion up until the moment of or even after birth, but they would remove safety protections for women, including restrictions on who can perform abortions and the clinical standards that must be met by abortion providers.
Protect women and children from the pro-death squad.

Science is on our side.
Maureen Condic, Ph.D., wrote, “The conclusion that human life begins at sperm-egg fusion is uncontested, objective, based on the universally accepted scientific method of distinguishing different cell types from each other and on ample scientific evidence. ... Moreover, it is entirely independent of any specific ethical, moral, political, or religious view of human life or of human embryos.”
A human’s location or stage of development does not determine his or her rights or humanity. At the point of fertilization, an unborn child has its own DNA, completely unique from its parents, demonstrating that the baby is, in fact, a unique human being separate and distinct even from the mother in whose womb the child resides until birth.
From the moment of fertilization until full term, a preborn baby is equally deserving of the same human rights as an adult. The American College of Pediatricians says the difference between a human in its “zygotic stage” at conception and as an adult is simply “one of form, not nature.”
Abortion is not health care because a “successful” procedure requires the killing of a human being. No one has the “right” to kill another human being. Ergo, no woman has the “right” to kill her preborn baby.
Ultimately, abortion is not simply a biblical, moral, and spiritual issue, but also one of science. And Christians must be bold and vigilant in fighting this barbaric practice to end the genocide of the preborn.
Abortion rates in America were the highest in over a decade in the first full calendar year after the overturn of Roe v. Wade. An estimated 1,026,690 babies were killed through abortion in 2023 with chemical abortions now responsible for 63% of abortions.
