State Child Protective Services Are Now Removing Children From Religious Homes

 

State Child Protective Services are now removing children from religious homes with parents who refuse to "affirm" or provide puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and mutilating surgeries for their children. And one state is considering legislation that would make it a sanctuary state for transgender runaways, where the state will take custody and arrange "sex change" services for minor children who manage to reach that state's borders with or without their parents' approval. The "trans" agenda is spreading like cancer, as the LGBTQ mafia conspires to steal and maim our children. California is considering two bills to fast-track children to the surgeon's table -- even runaways from other states and even if a parent objects.

The bills will effectively make California a "sanctuary state" for runaway children seeking chemical and surgical changes.

It also permits and encourages noncustodial parents to kidnap their children from the other parent to access abusive child services that are not permitted in their home state or by the custodial parent.

Help Liberty Counsel STOP the ABUSE! 

California AB 957, if passed, will force family court judges to award custody based on "a parent's affirmation of a child's gender identity," which the bill claims is intrinsic to the "health, safety and welfare of a child."

California SB 107 seeks to give California family courts the authority to "make an initial child custody determination" or take "temporary emergency jurisdiction" of a child "for the purpose of obtaining gender-affirming care." 

The Legislative Counsel's Digest says that SB 107 would "prohibit a court from considering the taking or retention of a child from a person who has legal custody of the child, if the taking or retention was for obtaining gender-affirming health care or mental health care."

The bill endorses kidnapping for the purpose of child sex mutilation.

Both bills violate the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act -- a federal law that obligates states to honor child custody judgments of other states. 

But, as we have seen from California's many other "sanctuary" ideals on immigration and drugs, the Golden State simply doesn't care about federal law. 

Protect our children from the LGBTQ Sex Cult! 

"This bill declares war on parents throughout the country who don't want their children sterilized because of their gender dysphoria, a condition that resolves itself in most cases after a child reaches adulthood," says Greg Burt of the California Family Policy Counsel. 

If passed, Burt says it will turn California "into a threat to every family in the country."

Lest you think this insanity is limited to the left coast, think again.

Indiana Child Protective Services removes "trans" teen from religious home.

Last month, the Indiana Court of Appeals decided that failure to affirm a teen's gender confusion amounts to "mental and emotional abuse."

The case stems from a May 2021 incident in which Child Protective Services (CPS) was called to a home to investigate a 16-year-old male. CPS found a healthy family, with plenty to eat and plenty of love, and no visible signs of neglect or abuse in John* and Mary's* home.

However, Jordan* claimed his parents were "being mean" to him by refusing to refer to him as a "she" and insisting on using Jordan's given name, as opposed to the female name he had begun calling himself.

CPS decided that John and Mary's refusal to bow to their son's delusion was "mental and emotional abuse." On June 2, less than a month after Jordan's complaint, the Indiana trial court ordered CPS to remove Jordan from his parent's home due to the parents' "inability, refusal or neglect to provide shelter, care and/or supervision at the present time."

Yet CPS had not found ANY evidence of neglect, as is proven by the fact that CPS did not remove any of the family's other children. The seizure of Jordan from the home was predicated upon his parents' insistence of following actual science, backed by their own religious convictions. CPS removed Jordan, making the confused young man a "ward of the state" over his parent's objections.

Jordan's parents were allowed "visitation" -- but only if they refrained from using Jordan's real name or biological pronouns. The parents were barred from discussing their religious views on sexuality or anything about gender.

Four months into custody, the state admitted that Jordan's mental condition had grown worse, not better, under its supervision. CPS reports show that Jordan had lost "a significant amount of weight" because he would not eat and refused to acknowledge or receive counseling for his eating disorder. Yet CPS blamed this on Jordan's parents.

Defend religious freedom and parents' rights to protect their children from the evil sterilization agenda.

John and Mary appealed the state's kidnapping of their son, pleading to the court that the state was violating their 14th Amendment rights, as well as their First Amendment religious freedom rights. The Appeals Court ruled against the parents.

Jordan remains a ward of the State of Indiana, which is actively endorsing the child's delusions.

Sadly, Liberty Counsel is being bombarded with many similar and related cases, where parents, students, teachers, and employees are being pressured and abused to abandon their faith and their children to the trans mutilation agenda.

We also continue to work to overturn the more than 87 bans on Christian change counseling that exist across the nation.

Christian counseling has been shown to help resolve gender confusion as well as unwanted same-sex attractions. 

But this lifesaving therapy has been banned in many cities and states. Liberty Counsel has overturned 23 counseling bans, but we continue to fight to overturn the other Christian counseling bans still in place.
