'Refers to Joe accurately and suddenly libs have a problem with news orgs showing bias'
Political leftists are melting down after Fox News posted a chyron on screen Tuesday night, as part of its reporting on President Donald Trump's appearance in a Miami court on charges relating to his presidential papers.
It's because it said, "Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested."
TRENDING: The sham indictment is the LAST reason to desert Trump
A commentary at Twitchy explained, "Fox News refers to Joe Biden accurately and suddenly libs have a problem with news orgs showing bias."
The commentary then turned snarky: "The horror! That's downright criminal, y'all. Referring to a demonstrably authoritarian president as a 'wannabe dictator.' …. how dare you, Fox News ?!. There's only one way for the Biden administration to address this travesty now:"
The Washington Post noted that even before the "dictator" remark, Fox had posted on-screen, "Trump Responds to Unprecedented Federal Indictment” and "Trump: This is a Political Persecution."
The report explained, "The wording borrowed from the criticism leveled frequently on the air this week by Fox pundits, who have claimed that the Trump indictment is politically motivated. Yet the stark and flippant phrasing of the chyron struck many critics as crossing a line into outright falsehood. The Biden administration has maintained that it has no role in the federal Trump prosecution, with Attorney General Merrick Garland turning to a special counsel to avoid a conflict of interest."
However, what is fact is that there has been significant evidence of possible criminal cases involving the Bidens – Hunter Biden's multiple issues including gun-related and tax-related disputes – as well as a document that the FBI purportedly has had for an extended time alleging Joe Biden accepted a $5 million bribe to act officially on behalf of a private interest in Ukraine.
Garland has done nothing to advance cases regarding the alleged offenses. And Biden repeatedly has acted unilaterally, dictating to the federal government what he wants done. One example is his order to all federal agencies to cooperate with leftist organizations to "get out the vote," a move that largely benefits Democrats.
Leftists melted down, with commentator Ameshia Cross claiming it was both "offensive" and a "lie."
Townhall, too, responded, with a different perspective: "Whoever Wrote This Chyron at Fox News Deserves a Massive Raise."
Fox told the Post it was taken down and "was addressed."
Earlier, other statements appeared that included: "Soon: Donald Trump Speaks After Being Targeted by Biden’s Department of Justice."

And the prosecutor Garland chose to assemble a case against Trump, Jack Smith, was described as: "A Look at the Man Who’s Out To Get Trump.”
Twitchy continued, "We see how this works. 'Real news organizations' are the ones that mock and talk trash about Republicans, while 'fake 'news' organizations' are the ones that mock and talk trash about Democrats."
That came after another commenter pointed out, "MSNBC spent 7 years comparing Trump to Hitler."
Red State explained, "Trump’s remarks were a measured breakdown of some of his likely defenses to the charges. Yet as PBS carried his remarks, they ran chyrons warning people 'Violent rhetoric has escalated in online forums and far-right militia groups since Trump’s federal indictment.' They also ran another one, 'Experts warn that inflammatory rhetoric from elected officials or people in power can prompt individual actors to commit acts of violence.'"
But, the report pointed out, "When Joe Biden delivered his 'red speech' in Philadelphia, and demonized millions of MAGA Americans as a threat to the very foundation of the Republic, PBS had no such chyrons, despite Biden trying to whip up anger against millions of Americans. The chyrons last night were a seeming attempt to smear Trump with violence despite him not saying anything to suggest violence. Some liberal media like CNN and MSNBC didn’t even cover his remarks live because of their bias."
The report said, of the "wannabe," line,"It infuriated people on the left. They weren’t yelling about the inappropriateness of the PBS chyrons but they were upset about the Fox one which ran under a split screen of Biden and Trump and labeled Biden a 'wannabe dictator.'"
IMPORTANT NOTE: “Election denier!” “Science denier!” “Climate-change denier!” “Conspiracy theorist!” And then there’s “hate speech,” “fake news,” “disinformation,” “misinformation,” even something called “MALinformation.” A bizarre new lexicon has been conjured up by America’s elites, the SOLE PURPOSE of which is to discredit and ridicule – and if at all possible, CENSOR ENTIRELY – speech that doesn’t support their increasingly dark and deranged agenda. Tucker Carlson is just the latest.
In the greatest imaginable irony, the nation once boasting the most robust culture of freedom of speech and the press – undergirded by the strongest constitutional protections for those rights – is now ground zero for a total war on free expression.
