Friend,
Have you ever wondered if your vote really matters?
Here’s a number that might change your mind:
In 2020 more than 80% of voting Christians voted for pro-freedom candidates.
That number underscores something I’ve experienced firsthand during my many years advocating for families and people of faith in Washington, D.C.:
The more Christians who vote, the more freedom we as Americans will enjoy.
At Faith & Freedom Coalition, we believe wholeheartedly in the power of the Christian vote. And that’s not just blind faith -- it’s based on real numbers and the real difference we’ve seen made with our own eyes when committed Christians get out to vote.
But there’s just one thing that absolutely must happen for the Christian vote to change everything.
Faithful Christians need to turn out and vote.
It’s the frustrating sticking point we’ve experienced time and time again. For example, how does it make you feel to hear that in 2020, some 19 MILLION Christian voters failed to vote?
Here’s a little perspective. According to official vote counts (however reliable those may be), Joe Biden received just 7 million more votes than Donald Trump -- who took home an overwhelming 81% of the evangelical vote.
Clearly, those 19 million Christian voters who stayed home in 2020 could have changed everything for America.
That’s pretty hard to face today, as we see American families struggling under skyrocketing inflation, rising energy costs, crippling COVID-19 mandates, an education system in crisis, and more.
The damage Joe Biden and the Schumer-Pelosi Congress have done to our nation will take a long time to recover from.
But I still have hope. Hope in the Lord … and hope in how He will work through the power of the Christian vote.
That’s where our 2022 Project for the Midterm Elections comes in.
With just nine months to go, the Faith & Freedom team is hard at work contacting eligible Christian voters at their doors, by phone, email, and text, and at special church voter registration drives to make sure 6 MILLION new voters are registered before the all-important 2022 midterms.
We’re doing everything in our power to ensure that on Tuesday, November 8, millions of Christians and like minded people will turn out to cast their votes.
Because I believe their votes will elect leaders who will enact legislation that strengthens families, promotes time-honored values, protects the dignity of life and marriage, lowers the tax burden on small businesses and families, and requires government to tighten its belt and live within its means.
We are nowhere near our ceiling of potential for growth of the Christian vote. And I believe that if faithful Christians turn out to vote in 2022, we can save America for our children and grandchildren.
So thank you for your support, and your prayers, which are making this important work possible.
