Friend,
First, they came for our churches ...
Gov. Janet Mills of Maine has complete disregard for the Constitution and Title VII employment law.
Last year, Mills illegally closed churches, threatening to fine and imprison pastors and churchgoers alike.
Our case against Mills is currently before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Then they came for our jobs ...
Two weeks ago, Gov. Mills issued a new decree—that all private and public health care workers get the shots.
No religious exemptions, no matter what.
When one of our nurse clients presented a religious exemption to Northern Light, she was told that federal law does not apply because of Mills' order!
The nurse was immediately terminated.
Yesterday morning, when she reached out to another hospital, she was told "we would love to have you," but Gov. Mills won't allow us to consider religious exemptions.
But Mills cannot override Title VII employment law.

"I believe we must do everything in our power ... to encourage public health professionals ... to continue their brave humanitarian work." They are "superheroes," said Gov. Mills prior to this new edict.
Yet now these superheroes are "zeros" in just two weeks!
One of our dental clients is being told by Gov. Mills to terminate his employees who don't have the shots. No religious exemptions!
Our client does not want to terminate his faithful staff.
Our health care clients ran to danger to help people.
Now they face termination because of their faith.
We are representing thousands of health care workers whose faith does not allow them to take the COVID jabs.
Federal law prohibits ANY employer—even Gov. Janet Mills—from firing someone over their religious beliefs.
Sadly, Gov. Mills has a sordid history of religious discrimination.
Our clients have risen every morning and marched into hospitals, health care facilities, doctor's and dentist's offices—with one goal: To care for those suffering from COVID and every other illness or medical need.
They did it bravely and with honor.
They answered the call of duty to provide care to those who needed it most.
They risked their lives.
These superheroes should not be treated as villains!
MaineHealth, one of the defendants, terminated another of our clients. She was told in writing that
"federal law does not supersede state law in this instance. ... As such, we are not able to grant a request for a religious exemption from the state mandated vaccine."
Maine cannot overrule federal employment law and the First Amendment!
The health care workers we represent have witnessed the adverse reactions to the shots—and they don't want to be the next victim.
HELP us help these desperate people through your gift to Liberty Counsel.
Thankfully, we are also getting many appreciative calls and emails from people we have helped! Natalie writes:
I can't tell you how much I appreciate you stepping in and stepping up to support hundreds, if not thousands, of employees like me who do not want to take the shots. ... God bless you all and your efforts. You're a beacon of light and hope in these dark times. May we all overcome and win this fight!
There is no way we could continue this frenetic pace without the Lord's sustaining power. Pray for our team to overcome these evil mandates.
