"The doctor, counselor, let my husband and [me] know that it was now our choice whether we wanted to abort our baby.
When I went home, I couldn't get that out of my mind.
It was just not in my frame of reference.
We had three beautiful children, and I had never been asked that.
Was it just because of my age?
What was this all about?
"So, I really started thinking about it.
Then I began to wonder; What would I have done if Bob hadn't been with me?
What if I hadn't had somebody who loved me who was going to help me raise this child?
All of these questions started coming to my mind.
But I let it go, and our beautiful boy was born.
"Well, January 8, 2019, this son, Alexander James, and his wife, delivered their first baby boy.
I stood there, 30 years later, and I looked at our son holding his little boy, and it was if God spoke volumes:
'This is your blessing for choosing life.'
"I came home from that hospital and I knew that I had to tell my story.
Over the years, I had women from my church, and others, come to me and ask, "Would you tell my story?
I can't tell it.
I've had an abortion, and I can't even talk about it."
"I had this burning passion and asked the Lord how to do a collection of stories of people whose lives have been impacted by abortion.
The narrative of abortion in this country is astounding.
My prayer was, 'Is there anything I can do to change the narrative?'
God said, "Watch Me."
