Unshaken

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Hebrews 12:28
Some years ago, there was a gas crisis and everyone in our state had to turn their gas meters off.
It was one of those occasions that make you realize how dependent we are on things that we have no control over.
There are many situations in life, where we have little control—the weather, natural disasters, the economic situation, our health, death and other people's behavior for example.
Faith is a great help, but only if our faith is in something or someone who is absolutely dependable and unchangeable.
Faith is a great help, but only if our faith is in something or someone who is absolutely dependable and unchangeable.
In the physical realm, the sun is the most dependable thing we have.
We know that every day there is going to be light and every night the sun will vanish from sight.
Even when we don't see the sun, we rely on it and make decisions based on its unchanging nature.
In the spiritual realm, God is the One who is absolutely dependable and unchangeable.
In the spiritual realm, God is the One who is absolutely dependable and unchangeable.
No matter where we go, or what we do, he is always with us.
Even though we can't see him and often do not feel his presence, we can rely on him and make decisions based on his unchanging nature.
Some people say they have faith but it doesn't seem to affect their lives.
Some people say they have faith but it doesn't seem to affect their lives.
If our faith is sincere, it will impact our daily lives and we will know that no matter what happens, blessing or crisis, we can depend upon God.
We go through life less bothered by changing circumstances, when we have our security in Someone that is unchangeable.
