How
Futile are all the activities of man
Apart
from Obedience to, and Faith in God.
In the
End, everything done in Disobedience to God
Will
come to Nothing.
Listen
to the Word of God describe this Futility:
Why
do the Nations Rage
And
the peoples Plot in Vain?
The
kings of the Earth take their Stand
And
the Rulers gather together
AGAINST
THE LORD AND HIS ANOINTED ONE.
'LET
US BREAK THEIR CHAINS,
They
say, and throw off their Fetters.'
THE
ONE ENTHRONED IN HEAVEN LAUGHS;
THE
LORD SCOFFS AT THEM.
Then
He Rebukes them in His Anger
And
Terrifies them in His Wrath,
Saying,
'I
have Installed My King on Zion,
My
Holy Hill.'
(Psalm
2:1-6)
The
Sovereign God
Has
already Installed Christ Jesus on Zion,
His
Holy Hill.
We
are simply waiting for it to be made Manifest.
At
that time all the Machinations of man
Apart
form Obedience to, and Faith in God,
Will
have come to Nothing.
