President Trump’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is trying to protect the consciences of pro-life health care workers and employees who are pro-life from anti-life government discrimination!
The Department issued a proposed regulation to enforce existing conscience rights laws that the Obama administration refused to enforce.
In some cases, states such as California and Washington are mandating abortion coverage in violation of federal law!

The United States has a history of protecting individuals and organizations from being penalized or discriminated against based on conscience. That includes several federal laws barring federal funds from being used to discriminate against pro-life health care providers. Thomas Jefferson wrote, that

In fact, Obama’s HHS rescinded President Bush’s 2008 Federal Conscience Rule that protected against government discrimination.
Trump is now reversing that Obama era anti-life anti-conscience regulation!
This year alone, more than 300 health workers have complained to HHS about their religious or conscience rights being violated by a state, their employer, or a health care provider.

These complaints show just how systemic government discrimination against pro-life medical providers in our country has become.
We need you to provide a comment in support of the new regulation proposed by HHS on January 19, 2018.
