The Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act Fails To Pass In The Senate
The Senate voted on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act on Monday. For those who don’t know, it’s exactly what it sounds like. As I’ve mentioned before, the bill bans abortion after 20 weeks. At that point in a pregnancy, the baby is about 6 1/2 inches long, and he or she is capable of feeling pain.
I don’t believe there is ever a “good time” to abort a child, but come on. We can’t even agree that women shouldn’t be able to murder babies who can FEEL PAIN?
Nope. The bill failed to pass in the Senate. It needed 60 votes to pass.
The final vote was 51-46.
Be sure to put Republican Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski on your list, because they sided with the Democrats.
Only three Democrats voted with Republicans– Sens. Joe Manchin, Bob Casey and Joe Donnelly. That means that almost every single Democrat in Congress is cool with murdering babies who feel pain.
And they call us the extremists.
President Trump released a statement following the devastating (yet not surprising) vote.
Recently, when I addressed the 45th annual March for Life, I called on the Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, important legislation that would protect our most vulnerable. It is disappointing that despite support from a bipartisan majority of U.S. Senators, this bill was blocked from further consideration. Scientific studies have demonstrated that babies in the womb feel pain at twenty weeks. The vote by the Senate rejects scientific fact and puts the United States out of the mainstream in the family of nations, in which only 7 out of 198 nations, including China and North Korea, allow elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy. We must defend those who cannot defend themselves. I urge the Senate to reconsider its decision and pass legislation that will celebrate, cherish, and protect life.
There's significant scientific evidence that at 5 months of development, these babies can feel pain. They will scrunch their eyes and clench their hands and pull back their limbs in response to pain – just like any other child experiencing pain.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act has failed in the Senate. Democrats claim that they want to protect innocent life, yet vote against the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. Unbelievable.Democrats need to be reminded that #theyfeelpain.— Joe Walsh (@WalshFreedom) January 29, 2018
Reasonable people can disagree on the larger issue of abortion, but science has proven that 20 week-old babies in the womb can feel the pain of being aborted. Any Senator voting against 'Pain-Capable' is voting to torture children. #TheyFeelPain— David Bozell (@DavidBozell) January 29, 2018
The inaction by the Senate continues to grow worse, & I'm disappointed beyond words. Why? Because life is at stake. All of us—no matter the party—should agree that we have a vested interest in protecting young lives—including unborn children after 20 weeks. #TheyFeelPain#prolife pic.twitter.com/kfqSnldCQT— Rep. I’m truly disgusted. This isn’t a partisan issue. This is a humanity issue.
Democrats can no longer act like they’re the champions of the weak and helpless.

My comments: SHAME on all those Senators that voted against this Bill. Every Christian should realize that America has No Future, before the Living God, as long as there is Government sanctioned Abortion Murder.
