WHY GOD HAS NOT ENDED ABORTION IN AMERICA

Exclusive: Larry Nevenhoven posits reason Christians' prayers go unanswered

How many more millions of believers will have to pray in order for Roe vs. Wade to be overturned? How many more annual rallies, with last year being its 44th, must March of Life hold in Washington, D.C., before this murderous scourge is erased? How many more hundreds of thousands of people will have to fast so babies will be safe in their mothers’ wombs?

But yet, Roe vs. Wade will celebrate its 45th anniversary on Jan. 22, 2018.

Let’s admit it, OK? We are either doing something wrong, or God’s hearing needs to be checked out. What does Scripture say?

The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; His ears are open to their cries for help.(Psalm 34:15 NLT)

David wrote Psalm 34 during one of his many agonizing trials before he was king of Israel. Did David write the truth? God seemed to think so because He validated David’s whole life 1,100 years later by saying, “David did the will of God for his generation and then he died.”

I believe we can safely assume David’s words are accurate and that God’s ears are tuned into believers’ cries. But still, the first part of the verse implies believers have to be accurate with their cries for help for God to answer their prayers. So, what are we doing wrong?

Roe vs. Wade was argued before a full Supreme Court on Oct. 11, 1972, but what else took place in October 1972?

On Oct. 8, 1972, a major breakthrough came in secret negotiations to end the Vietnam War. Dr. Henry Kissinger, the chief American negotiator, and Le Duc Tho, the head North Vietnamese negotiator, reached an agreement after North Vietnam modified its demands. A final draft was drawn up, and Kissinger announced, “Peace is at hand.”

President Nguyen Van Thieu of South Vietnam was not even informed of the secret negotiations with North Vietnam. Upon reading the agreement, he refused to accept it. President Nixon and Kissinger twisted his arm by promising continued air support and financial aid.

On Jan. 22, 1973, the Supreme Court issued its Roe vs. Wade decision. The landmark decision overturned almost every law restricting abortion in our nation. 

From that day forward, the war against unborn babies began with a vengeance.

On the following day, Kissinger and Le Duc Tho signed off on the Vietnam peace treaty, which was almost identical to the final draft agreed upon in October 1972. Then, on Jan. 27, 1973, the leaders of the formal delegations signed the agreement at the Majestic Hotel in Paris.

Just coincidences? Maybe, but there’s more.

President Lyndon Johnson died of a sudden heart attack at his ranch in Texas on Jan. 22, 1973. Johnson was the main culprit for increasing our involvement in the Vietnam War.

What else happened in January 1973?

Five men who broke into the Democratic National Office at the Watergate Complex were tried and convicted. The mushrooming Watergate scandal and cover-up eventually drove President Nixon from office in disgrace on Aug. 9, 1974.

The two main presidential architects of the Vietnam War ended their political careers in shame. Johnson died on the exact day abortion became legal. Nixon made no public comment about the Roe vs. Wade ruling, but in private he felt certain abortion was OK.

President Theiu’s concerns about the secret agreement reached between Kissinger and Tho proved accurate. America exchanged prisoners with the North Vietnamese and withdrew from Southeast Asia. North Vietnam ignored the treaty. 

And then, America failed to keep its promises to South Vietnam, not even one of them.

There’s no doubt that our intervention in the Vietnam War was built on lies, deceits, corruption and financial waste, but even worse, America’s withdrawal from Southeast Asia resulted in a bloodbath. 

Millions were slaughtered in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos by the Communists. Hundreds of thousands of others – men, women, children and babies – fled South Vietnam in crowded boats. 

A large percentage of these boat people perished at sea.

Americans still look at what the Vietnam War cost our nation in lives and financial waste, but fail to realize what it cost the people of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. 

But God, who is the Judge, has not forgotten. The blood of the innocent people still cries out to Him day and night.

How does God handle these blood cries? He does this by honoring His Word.

But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD your God or be careful to do all his commandments and his statutes that I command you today, then all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you. Cursed shall be the fruit of your womb. … (Deuteronomy 28:15, 18a)

Deuteronomy 28 was written specifically for a nation − Israel − which was held to a high level of accountability because He gave them the Law. Yet, God is not a respecter of people or nations.

The high standard He expected Israel to follow, He expects America, which has more Bibles, more churches and more Christians than any other nation, to do the same!

His Word states that if we do not obey His voice and His commandments, the fruit of women’s wombs − children, babies and pregnancies − will be cursed. 

There is no other way to think of America’s 60,000,000 dead babies than as a curse upon our nation.

Now, we have to find the national sin(s) that have triggered this curse.

I truly believe one answer is obvious: our deceitful dealings with Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos in the Vietnam War. It’s my heartfelt belief we need to ask forgiveness of the people of these nations and do works of repentance by helping them.

America sowed the wind in the Vietnam War, and today we’re still reaping the whirlwind from it. 

How much longer will this curse continue to plague our nation?

My comments: As valid as this argument is, it ignores the fact that the LEFT IDOLIZES Abortion, and they comprise approximately One-half of America. For the LEFT, Abortion is Population Control, and allows women and men to do as they please, Sexually. This Warped attitude also brings a CURSE. God does not Violate the Free Will of men and women--They CHOOSE.
