The outgoing Obama administration is seeking to impose terms of peace on Israel this weekend at an international conference in Paris. And the UN could endorse the outcome with another anti-Israel resolution just before President-elect Trump takes office! It's a dangerous end-run on the American public and a nightmare for Israel.
Israel needs our support now more than ever
Christians in Defense of Israel is standing against the actions of the Obama administration by calling for the passage of several pro-Israel initiatives in Congress. Click here to read and sign CIDI's I Stand United With Israel petition. Please see my urgent update below — Mat.

On Sunday, in Paris, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will attend a Middle East peace conference joined by leaders from 70 other nations. The Paris conference is being touted as forum to emphasize international support for a two-state solution and peace agreement.
Ironically, Israeli and Palestinian leadership will not attend the conference. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suggested a one-on-one meeting for "direct negotiations without preconditions" with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Paris." The Palestinians rejected the proposal.
+ + The Obama administration now seeks more anti-Israel measures.
Just two weeks ago, the UN Security Council passed a resolution which demanded that Israel, "immediately and completely cease all settlement activities in the 'occupied' Palestinian territory, including east Jerusalem." The "occupied" lands include East Jerusalem, home to some of Judaism's holiest sites.
The Obama administration recklessly abandoned Israel by not vetoing the resolution. PM Netanyahu called the administration's actions a "shameful ambush" and declared Israel has "unequivocal evidence that the Obama administration led the effort to pass the anti-Israel resolution in the UN Security Council."
But the UN's anti-Israel resolution was just the opening salvo in a carefully laid-out plan to inflict maximum damage on Israel before January 20. The Paris summit Sunday and UN action Tuesday pose a severe risk to Israel just days before President-elect Trump takes office.

There can be no lasting solution for peace until the Palestinian Authority and the Hamas government in Gaza recognize Israel's right to exist. These anti-Israel UN resolutions show why you and I must make our voice heard on Israel's behalf on Capitol Hill, in Israel, and in the United Nations.
+ + CIDI petition delivery to Capitol Hill on Friday!
The House of Representatives has already rebuked President Obama, passing a measure denouncing the UN resolution against Israel. Now we are calling for the Senate to take similar action and pass a measure introduced by Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Ben Cardin (D-MD), which denounces the actions of the UN.
That's why I am asking you to stand with Israel by adding your name to Christians in Defense of Israel's petition now, ahead of our petition delivery to Capitol Hill on Friday.
We need as many signatures as possible for maximum impact. One click here and your name will be immediately added!
As always, thank you for joining with us!
God bless you. God bless America. And God bless Israel.
