'AMERICA'S PROPHET' SAYS REVIVAL NATION'S ONLY HOPE

'Choice is not between 1 candidate and another, it is between God and Baal'

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, whose “The Harbinger” book racked up months on the New York Times best-sellers list, is warning that America, through its Supreme Court and White House, has defied the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the only answer now is a revival.

“We stand here at this critical hour between two altars, and two gods. The voice of the Lord cries out, ‘Choose you this day whom you shall serve,'” he said at the recent 2016 National Day of Prayer event in Washington.

“Our choice is not between one candidate and another; it is between God and Baal.”

Cahn, who at the recent “Washington: A Man of Prayer” event in Statuary Hall demanded from the U.S. Supreme Court justices to know where they got the authority to overrule God on marriage, noted, “70 years ago, the chaplain of the U.S. Senate said, ‘If the Lord is God then serve Him, but if Baal, then serve him and go to hell.”

“That warning is all the more critical today,” Cahn said. “We come to Washington not to seek the agency of government, but to seek the agency of the Holy Spirit. … There is no other way but revival. We commit ourselves to pray for that revival and not only to pray for that revival but by the power of God to walk in that revival.”

He continued, “We have come here because our hope and our trust is not in man, it is in God. Specifically, our trust is in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God of Moses, Elijah, the Red Sea and the resurrection. The God of the impossible.”

Cahn was dubbed “America’s prophet” a year ago by Dan Cummins, who organizes the “Washington: A Man of Prayer” event for members of Congress each year.

At the Day of Prayer event, he reprised some of his warnings from the earlier “Washington: A Man of Prayer” event.

“As ancient Israel turned away from her God and His ways, so, too, has America,” he thundered from the podium.

“The city on a hill, founded for the purposes of God, drove God out of its government, out of its culture, out of its public square. It celebrated ungodliness and called evil good and good evil. It lifted up the most innocent and helpless of its inhabitants and slaughtered them on the altars of self-obsession.”

“The last time we gathered, it was the day after the Supreme Court heard the case to decide the future of marriage,” he said. “Two months after we gathered here, America’s highest court struck down the order of God!

“It must be asked, this day, Supreme Court justices, where do you get the authority to overrule the rulings of the Most High? By what authority did you strike down the laws of the Almighty? … You are neither the highest court nor the final authority. There is a Supreme Justice that does not sleep forever.”

At the Day of Prayer event he continued, putting President Obama in his target.

“Mr. President did you not lay your hand on the Word of God to assume the oath of your presidency.

“Then how did you take the same hand and enact words that war against the very Word on which you swore your oath. And you uttered the words ‘so help me God.’ But on the day the order of God was struck down, you issued the order to illumine the White House in the colors of the rainbow to celebrate that striking down.”

He continued, “Mr. President, by what authority did you take the sacred colors of God’s covenant, the colors of his throne and the colors of his mercy in the face of judgment, and turn them against the purposes of God. Does a president have the power to veto the ordinance of the living God?”

Last year, Cahn warned that America was exchanging “our light for darkness” by rebelling against God and was, therefore, inviting divine judgment.

“If a nation’s high court should pass judgment on the Almighty, should you then be surprised God will pass judgment on the court and that nation? We are doing that which Israel did on the altars of Baal,” he said then.
