GOD'S WARNING OF COMING DESTRUCTION

The Word of the Lord that came to Zephaniah son of Cushi,

The son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah,

During the reign of Josiah son of Amon king of Judah:

'I will Sweep Away Everything from the Face of the Earth.'

Declares the Lord.

'I will Sweep Away both men and animals;

I will Sweep Away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea.

The Wicked will have Heaps of Rubble

When I Cut Off man from the Face of the Earth,'

Declares the Lord.

(Zephaniah 1:1-3)

Be Silent before the Sovereign Lord

FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR.

'ON THAT DAY,' declares the Lord,

'I will Punish All who avoid stepping on the threshold,

Who fill the Temple of their gods with Violence and Deceit.'

(Zephaniah 1:8)

'ON THAT DAY,' declares the Lord,

'A Cry will go up from the Fish Gate,

Wailing from the New Quarter,

And a loud crash from the hills.

WAIL, you who live in the Market District;

All your Merchants will be Wiped Out,

All who Trade with Silver will be Ruined.

AT THAT TIME I will Search Jerusalem with Lamps

And Punish those who are Complacent,

Who are like wine left on its dregs,

WHO THINK, 'THE LORD WILL DO NOTHING,

EITHER GOOD OR BAD.'

Their Wealth will be Plundered, their Houses Demolished.

They will build Houses but not live in them;

They will plant vineyards but not drink the wine.

THE GREAT DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR—near and coming quickly.

Listen! The cry on THE DAY OF THE LORD will be Bitter,

The shouting of the warrior there.

THAT DAY WILL BE A DAY OF WRATH,

A DAY of distress and anguish,

A DAY of Trouble and Ruin, A DAY of Darkness and Gloom,

A DAY of Clouds and Blackness, A DAY of Trumpet and Battle Cry

Against the Fortified Cities and against the Corner Towers.

I will bring Distress on the people and they will walk like blind men,

Because they have Sinned against the Lord.

Their blood will be poured out like dust and their entrails like filth.

Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them

On THE DAY of the Lord's Wrath.

In the Fire of His jealousy the Whole World will be CONSUMED,

For he will make A SUDDEN END of All who live in the Earth.

(Zephaniah 1:14-18)

Gather together, gather together, O Shameful Nation(s),

Before the appointed time arrives and THAT DAY sweeps on like chaff,

Before the fierce anger of the Lord comes upon you,

Before THE DAY of the Lord's wrath comes upon you.

SEEK THE LORD, ALL YOU HUMBLE OF THE LAND,

You who do what he commands.

Seek Righteousness, Seek Humility;

Perhaps you will be Sheltered on THE DAY of the Lord's Anger.

(Zephaniah 2:1-3)

Has God Almighty not warned mankind—every Nation?

YES, He has.

Did He send His Christ Jesus for NOTHING?

No He did not.

The Question is, Who believes God and His Word?

Who in America believes God and His Word?

Peter warned the Saints of his day:

First of all, you must understand

That in the Last Days Scoffers will come, Scoffing

And following their own Evil Desires.

They will say, 'Where is this Coming' He Promised?

Ever since our fathers died,

Everything goes on as it has since the beginning of Creation.

(2 Peter 3:3, 4)

Is that not the mind-set of Most in America and the World?

Is that not the mind-set of Most in the Church?

Who believes that what Zephaniah and others Prophesied

Could happen in our day?

Is this not like the Days of Noah? (Matthew 24:37)

God Almighty offers EVERY PERSON Salvation in His Son Christ Jesus;

ALL who are willing to walk THE NARROW WAY;

ALL who are wiling to be Crucified with Christ to this Wicked World

And no longer live,

But allow Christ to live in and through them.

This life that they now live they live by Faith in the Son of God

And His Power at work in them.

They have set their hearts on Things Above;

Their lives are Hidden with Christ in God;

They have Clothed themselves with the Garments of Christ

And let His Word Dwell Richly in them.

Christ Jesus warned us:

Be always on the Watch,

And pray that you will be able to Escape All that is about to happen,

And that you may be able TO STAND before the Son of Man.

(Luke 21:36)

Today, the World is Raging Against God,

Rushing toward Oblivion. (Psalm 2)

This World in it's Present Form is Passing Away. (1 Corinthians 7:31)

America is being Ground to Powder because of her SIN against God.

Save yourself from this Corrupt Generation! (Acts 2:40)
