Huelskamp on Obama’s Legacy: He Will Be the Planned Parenthood and Food Stamp President
(CNSNews.com) – When asked about President Barack Obama’s legacy ahead of his State of the Union address on Tuesday, Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) said he would be remembered for his support for the nation’s largest abortion provider and for increasing the number of people receiving federal food assistance.
CNSNews.com asked Huelskamp if Obama’s recent veto of the reconciliation bill passed by Congress that would have repealed large portions of Obamacare and would have ended federal funding of Planned Parenthood for one year by prohibiting Medicaid reimbursements would be part of the president’s legacy.
“He will be the Planned Parenthood president,” Huelskamp said. “He is also the food stamp president.

“The numbers are all bad,” Huelskamp said. “I think he is more interested in defending, protecting and funding Planned Parenthood than protecting American families.”
Huelskamp noted that there are more Americans on food stamps under Obama than ever before and that millions of people are looking for a full-time job.
“I think many of his policies have failed,” Huelskamp said.
