SAVAGE: OBAMA 'PURE MALEVOLENCE,' DEMORALIZED NATION
Exclusive: Kathy Shaidle recaps hottest discussions on the air
Michael Savage
After Obama’s speech touting his nuclear deal with Iran, and mocking Republicans for refusing to support it, Savage said to his audience: “The president was a great salesman for Iran today. In fact, he is such a skilled rhetorician, he almost had me believing what he was saying, and I am the ultimate cynic.”
He added, however, that in reality, “This deal is so bad that three prominent Jewish Democrats who have some integrity have all backed out supporting the deal,” noting, “Iran isn’t a trustworthy partner in anything. It’s a nation known for its cheating. It’s part of their inherent culture (Free audio).”
In a philosophical mood, Savage mused on the various ways people try to find meaning in life, and came to a blunt conclusion: “Most Americans have no reason to live. They have no inspiration, no reason to go on. I know it’s harsh but it’s true. … You look at Obama and see a skinny guy with weird ears, but he is pure malevolence. He has evaporated the inspiration for many people to go on. He has demoralized the entire nation (Free audio).”
Rush Limbaugh
“It’s kind of masterful, actually, when you stop and think of it.”
Rush Limbaugh made a bold prediction this week: “The Ayatollah Khamenei will release the four American hostages, and it’ll be said to be following a great diplomatic series of maneuvers by Obama and Kerry.”
“I think it’s been set up from the get-go as part of the Iran deal,” Limbaugh explained, saying that Obama cares too much about his “legacy” to leave the Americans in Iran (Free audio).
The Gold Channel got political this week, after John Boehner bemoaned the state of American politics to host David Feherty: “20 years ago, when we won the first Republican majority in 40 years, there was one radio talk show host nobody had ever heard of. There was one cable news channel that just did news. And you look at today, you’ve got hundreds of radio talk show hosts all trying to outdo themselves by going further right and further right.”
That “one radio show host” was, of course, Rush Limbaugh – who quickly responded on the air. “We have just learned that I, your host, am the reason the Republican House feels trapped and unable to do what they would really like to do,” Limbaugh joked to his audience (Free audio).
Aaron Klein
Klein exposed a massive Democratic Party electioneering scheme to remake American jurisdictions under the guise of “diversity” and “equality” but which is clearly intended to “redistribute” Big Government dependents who vote Democrat to strategic areas.
Jewish homes were razed in the ancient community of Beit El in the West Bank this week, but only Klein reported the real story.
Plus: Klein featured a special interview with retired talk show host and Watergate architect G. Gordon Liddy, who told Klein that Hillary Clinton’s many scandals are “much larger” that anything Richard Nixon was ever accused of doing.
“Bear in mind that nobody even caught a cold at the Watergate office building. But four devoted American citizens, including an ambassador, were left to die in Benghazi,” Liddy said.
Listen to Aaron Klein’s show every week on radio (AM 970 The Answer in NY; NewsTalk 990 AM in Philly) or online.
Mark Levin
On his first appearance as a guest on Fox News’ Special Report, Levin stated: “I don’t think anger describes the [Republican] base. I think disappointment and frustration describes the base and rightly so. We have a Republican Congress that keeps surrendering its constitutional powers, including the power of the purse when they keep announcing we’re not going to shut down the government.”
He added, “If you’re 45 years old or younger, you’ve never had an opportunity to vote for an actual conservative for president. You’ve voted for Republicans, you’ve voted for establishment Republicans (Free video).”
Reviews are starting to come in for Levin’s new book, “Plunder and Deceit.”
Steve Deace at the Washington Times wrote this week, “Everything that has made Mark Levin one of the conservative movement’s most influential voices is there in his new book.”
“Plunder and Deceit is more than a book,” Deace added. “It’s a manifesto. The likes of which you’d expect to be written by an Old Testament prophet pleading with the emerging generation to return to the righteous path their ancestors strayed from.”
Glenn Beck
Beck doesn’t seem like the kind of person who’d get a tattoo, but he told listeners this week that he’s considering it, even though the Mormons frown upon them.
The symbol “looks kind of like a U with a dot on it,” Glenn said, talking about a symbol jihadists have been spray painting on the homes of Christians in Middle East.
“What it means in Arabic is the Nazarene,” he explained. “It means you follow the Nazarene. And if they spray paint this on your doorpost, it means you’re marked for death (Free video).”
Recently on Facebook, Beck said he was so troubled by the state of the nation, he was reluctant to fly an American flag any longer. He elaborated: “Last week I got a lot of heat for saying I couldn’t fly the flag another day because I didn’t know what it stood for anymore. … I called Colonial Flag and had two new flags made. The top is the Bennington flag with a modification from me. Two words we need to relearn. And the lower flag is an appeal to heaven.”
He was especially upset by the series of undercover Planned Parenthood videos.
“It’s one of the reasons, quite honestly, that I was totally fine taking my flag down,” Beck said. “I took my flag down and I got a lot of heat from it. But I can’t fly the 50-star flag anymore. … It represents – not the government – it represents us. And who the hell have we become?”
